“Really happy with our medal race performance, we couldn’t have done anything better,’’ Darmanin said.
“It’s been such a worthwhile week here in Miami and we have some good things to work on when we get home.’’
Waterhouse will now rush back to Sydney to join his Australian teammates for the opening round of the SailGP series which kicks off on Sydney Harbour on Friday week.
