The first grand final in the new competition is about to be played.

After three weeks of competition the Broncos emerged as the only undefeated team in the inaugural league.

They will now meet the Sydney Roosters in the decider after they earned their spot with a last round thrashing of the Dragons.

NRL WOMEN’S PREMIERSHIP FAST FACTS

#For the inaugural competition only four clubs will complete for the sports newest trophy — the St George Illawarra Dragons, Sydney Roosters, Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors.

#Each of these clubs has a squad of 22. A team of 21 will be named on Tuesday before games. That will be cut to 19 24 hours before kick-off with the final 17 confirmed one hour before kick-off.

#The women’s game is similar to the men’s in that there are two referees and the bunker; it has the same judiciary process; there is the shot; and HIAs.

#Games are different in there are 30-minute halves.

#There are 10 interchanges allowed in regular time, plus two additional in golden point.

#It is a 40/30 kick, rather than a 40/20.

#The games will be played as double-headers during the men’s NRL finals series.
