DIAMONDS coach Lisa Alexander says every position in the Commonwealth Games team is still up for grabs heading into two major international series in Australia and New Zealand.
The Diamonds last month attended a week long camp in the wake of Super Netball and ahead of the Quad series later this month and the Constellation Cup in October.

Netballers in the two different teams selected for the international series will have plenty to play for with Alexander and selectors still working out the dynamics of the side they will send onto the court in defence of the Commonwealth Games crown.
And of particular interest is the success of different shooting combinations during both the Quad Series and Constellation Cup.
“We haven’t settled on anything yet,” Alexander said.
“It’s why we have the two different teams.

“And as you know, the goal attack position is very competitive.
“Every position is still available.”
Alexandra said she is delighted with the depth and options her squad provides her with.
“We have people here who are not even in either team who want to show they deserve a spot.
“It’s a great position to be in.”

Joining defending Commonwealth Games champions Australia on the Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games are, in order of their world rankings, New Zealand, England, Jamaica, South Africa, Malawi, Fiji, Wales, Uganda, Northern Ireland, Barbados and Scotland.
Preliminary matches will be played at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 5-12 with finals matches at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre from April 14-15.
