SHE is the ironwoman who swapped the surf for the stillwater to pursue an Olympic dream.
The Manly born-and-bred kayaker who spent most of her life on the sand in surf lifesaving competition.
But a decision to try her hand at kayaking is one that has now lead Flood to two Olympic Games.
But this former ironwoman champion only just made the Auatralian team by the skin of her teeth after upsetting former paddling partner Jo Brigden-Jones for the spot.
