SHE was the young paddler who turned silver into gold by the sheer force of her personality at the London Olympics.
Now Jessica Fox is working overtime to go one better in Rio.

The Penrith canoe slalom paddler has won multiple world titles since the London Olympics but the Games gold is the one she wants most.

In London she had to produce an amazing effort to keep her medal chances alive.
Four years later Fox is into the semi-final of the K1 event which will be raced on Friday morning.
And the Penrith paddler admitted she had “eased up’’ when she qualified second fastest for the semi-final.
“At the 23rd gate I heard that I had a good advantage so I thought I would ease up a bit and second place is a good place to be,’’ she said on Tuesday.
And in further good news Fox says she has found her mojo on the water.
“In that second run I felt like I found my rhythm and the glide and I was getting the moves well,’’ she said.
