Fox, her younger sister and mother have all been nominated for awards at the upcoming NSWIS gala.

Thanks to the best year of her career, which has including winning K1 and C1 world titles and navigating the World Cup series undefeated, Fox is up for female athlete of the year and outstanding achievement of the year.
Fox is pitted against a strong field for female athlete of the year which includes Winter Paralympic medallist Melissa Perrine, cyclists Kaarle McCulloch and Amanda Spratt and wheelchair racer and London marathon champion Madison de Rozario.
Sister Noemie is up for an award in the Academic Excellence category with mother Myriam, herself a multiple world champion paddler, up for coach of the year.
Snowboarder Jarryd Hughes and Freestyle Moguls skier Matthew Graham are male athlete of the year finalists along with Paralympic rower Erik Horrie, Paralympic swimmer Matthew Levy and high jumper Brandon Starc.
