Sixers' Gardner hits it big

THE WBBL and the men’s Big Bash League are getting down to the serious end of their seasons with the WACA and the Gabba hosting the semi-finals of both competitions this week.

The Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat will meet in the first WBBL semi-final on Tuesday at the WACA.

This will be part of a double header, with the BBL semi-final featuring the top placed Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars.

At the Gabba on January 25, the Sydney Sixers will play the Hobart Hurricanes in the second WBBL semi-final.

Brisbane Heat will take on Sydney Sixers in the second BBL|06 semi-final in another double header.

The KFC BBL Final will also be a double header with the Rebel Women’s BBL, with these matches to be broadcast live on Channel 10.
