Giants will field new look in 2019 Super Netball due to loss of star trio
WHILE veteran netballer Kim Green has indicated she will be playing on with the Giants she will be stepping out in the 2019 Super Netball competition with at least one new teammate in every area of the court.

WHILE veteran netballer Kim Green has indicated she will be playing on with the Giants she will be stepping out in the 2019 Super Netball competition with at least one new teammate in every area of the court.
At least three starting seven positions at the Giants are now up for grabs ahead of the third season of Super Netball.

Green admitted she and fellow Giants players had an inkling defender Bec Bulley would call time on her career but were not certain it would happen until she announced it after the Giants loss to Lightning in the preliminary final on Sunday.
Bully followed shooter Susan Pettitt into retirement while midcourter Serena Guthrie is returning to England.
“It is sad. We did have an inkling but really dint know for sure until she announced it but we had talked about what to get her as a retirement present,’’ said Green, felled by a stomach virus for four days in the lead-up to the preliminary final.
“We just have to go out and buy it.’’

The Giants have yet to confirm their line-up for 2019 with at least three starting seven spots up for grabs when the free market window opens next Monday.
“It will have a brand new look for sure,’’ Green said.
In contrast cross-town rivals the Swifts have already been successful in signing five of their starting seven with veterans Abbey McCulloch and Paige Hadley yet to be confirmed
