THEY were celebrating their shock win over the Warriors at Jess Sergis’ 21st on Sunday but come Monday the party is over for the St George Illawarra Dragons.
Coach Daniel Lacey said it’s back to business from the start of the working week as he and his team attempt to plot another upset in the women’s NRL premiership against the Sydney Roosters on Saturday.

“I told them last week they had 24 hours to get l feel their loss to the Broncos and this week they have 24 hours to come down from the win over the Warriors,” he said.
The Dragons beat the Warriors 22-10 with the victory set up in the opening six minutes thanks to tries by Shakia Tungai and Honey Hireme.
Missing from the match with a toe injury was Jillaroo and captain Sam Bremner who Lacey is still uncertain will be playing in the crucial game against the Roosters on Saturday.
“We want to do another scans on Monday to see if there is a fracture,” Lacey said of his star who sat with him in the coaches box on Saturday.
“We just how to see how things are after that.
“We won without one of the top four players in the world and that is something to be proud of.
“But we want her back.”
Of concern also is an ankle injury to Kezie Apps.
“Kezie should be fine we hope. She will be on ice but should be OK,’’ Lacey said.

While elated with the win which also saw Sergis, knocked out in round one, score and make two try-saving tackles, Lacey said there was plenty of work to be done this week ahead of the first ever Sydney derby in the women’s NRL.
“The Warriors bombed two tries and got held up in one and we coughed up the ball too much,’’ he said.
“So yes, there’s plenty of work ahead.’’
