Tesorina let down punters first-up but the Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra-trained mare is worth another chance at Geelong.

Herald Sun form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over eight-race card at Geelong on Wednesday.
BEST BET
TESORINA (Race 1, No. 8 – $3.80)
Tesorina jumped out well before she didn’t have much room at the crucial time when a well-backed favourite at Kilmore. She was narrowly beaten second-up last time in and is capable of bouncing back with a win at Geelong.
NEXT BEST
LADY MOFEED (Race 2, No. 6 – $1.85)
Gave a great sight in front before she was only just run down late at Cranbourne first-up. She strips fitter and the form out of the Cranbourne race has stood up after Aminatus won at The Valley last Friday night.
MISSISSIPPI (Race 3, No. 10 – $6)
Looked all over a stayer when chasing steadily on debut at Cranbourne. Trainer Grahame Begg has stepped the daughter of So You Think straight up in trip for her second outing. She will be harder to beat this time.
STYLISH ENUFF (Race 6, No. 6 – $5.50)
The Aaron Purcell-trained Stylish Enuff led and showed a neat turn of foot when a comfortable debut winner at Warrnambool last time out. He has a tricky gate but also has plenty of talent.
VALUE BET
REFLECTIVE IMAGE (Race 4, No. 13 – $11)
The Shea Eden-trained Reflective Image trialled twice in WA before making her way east to join the Cranbourne stable but the Americain filly made a strong debut when third at Werribee. She’ll be better for that experience and is over the odds.
THE JOCKEY
JAMIE MOTT
Mott rides plenty of winners at Geelong and Wednesday’s meeting presents for opportunities for the underrated jockey to get the job done for punters.
SUPER QUICK LOVE (Race 3 No. 8, ($5.50), BUBLE BOY (Race 4 No. 1, $3.50), TYCOON THUNDER (Race 6 No. 5, $11), ALLANO (Race 7 No. 5 $5.50).
THE WEEK AHEAD
Ararat races in the day on Thursday before Pakenham holds an eight-race card at night. Werribee races on Friday before Flemington’s ‘Rapid Racing’ meeting headlines the twilight action. Racing returns to Caulfield on Saturday while Kyneton will also hold its second meeting for the week and Healesville will be the scene of the picnic meeting. Sale races on Sunday before Monday’s meeting at Donald.
