BEST BET
Race 2, No.9: PIZARRO
Pizarro has been runner-up as favourite in both starts, beaten by smart types each time. Pizarro hasn’t had everything go his way in those races and he has still raced well. Drawn the rails gate and just needs a clear crack at them from the turn. Hard to beat.
NEXT BEST
Race 4, No.4: RULE OF LAW
Rule Of Law is in a competitive sprint but he showed his quality winning convincingly first-up over this course and distance. He will take improvement into this race and will appreciate the firm track conditions.
VALUE BET
Race 6, No.4: AUTHENTIC JEWEL
Authentic Jewel’s win over Rubinocchi and Quatenus was full of merit as she was slow to begin and had to be used up early to hold the rail and lead. The trio meet again with Authentic Jewel at generous odds. Drawn to advantage is a good each way gamble.

Tommy Berry has a full book of competitive rides including Man In The Mirror (race 1), Comme Bella Fille (race 3) and Warrior Hero (race 4).
TRAINER TO FOLLOW
Godolphin’s James Cummings is sending three very good chances to the Warwick Farm meeting – first starters Northumbria (race 1) and Indifference (race 2), and Quatenus (race 6).
THE INSIDE MAIL FOR WARWICK FARM
RACE 1
Man In The Mirror, a $1.8 million Magic Millions Yearling Sale purchase, is well placed to make a winning debut. He looks to have inherited his share of ability after two good barrier trial efforts, the most recent a stylish win at Rosehill. Drawn to get the right run and should go close. Captain Bond is a son of Golden Slipper winner Capitalist and comes off a sharp Rosehill trial win when he led throughout and never out of second gear, recording considerably faster time than Man In The Mirror the same day. Proud Image impressed closing fast to win her Hawkesbury trial and is one to watch at odds. Paris Dior matched it with the smart Miss Hellfire in her Randwick heat.
Bet: Quinella 2,3
RACE 2
Pizarro hasn’t had a lot of luck in his only two starts. He bumped into the very smart Clemenceau when second in fast time at Hawkesbury on debut. At his second start, Pizarro drifted back early and was in an awkward spot on the turn where he was held up momentarily before finishing strongly for second to Broken Hill at Canterbury. Drawn the inside gate and with even luck in running, he should win. Indifference, a half-brother to Group 1 winner Complacent, ran to line nicely with Shadow Devil as they gapped their rivals in a Hawkesbury heat. Expect Indifference to be hitting the line hard. Gulf Of Panama tried hard when second on debut here three weeks ago and will be improved. Publicist showed ability last time in and is trialling well.
Bet: Pizarro to win, Box trifecta 5,6,9,10
RACE 3
Comme Bella Fille goes to 2400m for the first time but gives the impression she will appreciate the extra distance. She finished fast to win at Canterbury over 1900m then ran gamely in Saturday class when third to boom stayer Huetor at Rosehill. Comme Bella Fille drops back to midweek grade and looks hard to beat. Black Queen comes off a tough win over the Warwick Farm 2400m course, continuing her consistent form this campaign. Oceanic Flash just keeps winning, completing his hat-trick over 2130m under a big weight here last start. This is first attempt at 2400m but should stay the trip strongly. Ladylovestogamble was beaten on a heavy track as favourite last start and deserves another chance.
Bet: Comme Bella Fille to win, watch betting moves on Black Queen
RACE 4
Rule Of Law made an impressive return to racing when he raced on the speed and powered clear in the run home to win convincingly in soft 7 track conditions over the Warwick Farm 1100m course. Arguably, he is even better on top of the ground as he ran very fast time winning by a big margin at Gosford earlier in his career. Promising sprinter and the one to beat. There are plenty of dangers to Rule Of Law including Jailbreak who is blessed with brilliant speed and he was dynamic winning an Orange barrier trial. Astero is another emerging sprinter resuming but he looked in good order winning a barrier trial on this track earlier this month. He’s Super Lucky was very good first-up when third in rain-affected conditions at Kembla Grange but his four career wins have all been on firm tracks.
Bet: Rule Of Law to win, saver on He’s Super Lucky at odds.
RACE 5
Majella ran on gamely to get within a length of Pecuniary Interest in a Highway at Randwick last start. Her best form is on top on the ground and she will appreciate the good surface on her home track. She’s worth a gamble at double figure odds. Miss Einstein has drawn awkwardly but only needs luck in running to be in the finish. Segrill is over the odds for a mare racing in such good form. She made the promising Niffler work hard to beat her last start. Sidereal did enough first-up to suggest he is in for a good campaign.
Bet: Box trifecta 2,6,7,9
RACE 6
Authentic Jewel was slow to begin and needed to be ridden with intent to rail through and lead before maintaining her advantage to score a convincing win over 1000m here last start. Drawn well and is at generous odds because she is considered a stamina risk. Very fit, underrated mare and the one to catch again. Quatenus was third to Authentic Jewel last start and is racing like she needs 1100m now. Consistent mare Rubinocchi split Authentic Jewel and Quatenus two weeks ago and must be included among the main chances. Sneaky Paige is a smart filly and gets an opportunity to strut her stuff on a good track.
Bet: Authentic Jewel each way, Box trifecta 4,9,10,12
RACE 7
Too Much Lippy is a progressive filly who followed her easy maiden win at Gosford by scoring over the Warwick Farm 1300m course, driving between runners in the straight for a game win. Drawn to get all the favours and although she is up in class, is very capable of continuing her winning streak. Mensa Missile will be hard to beat. He was very good first-up, closing late to just miss and will strip fitter. Rubamos led for a long way at Kensington start only to be edged out in a photo. Briars Kingdom is racing well and gets some weight relief from apprentice Tom Sherry’s claim but has to overcome a wide barrier.
Bet: Box trifecta 3,4,10,17
