DELTA TANGO (R7 No.10 - $3.90)

Sailed down the outside to win at Ararat last start when backed into favourite. Up in grade but suited at the 2000m with blinkers on.

NEXT BEST

NERVE NOT VERVE (R3 No.1 - $4.40)

Nailed on the post the past two starts at Caulfield and Flemington. The Michael Moroney-trained mare has won (twice) and placed at The Valley previously.

TEOFILO STAR (R6 No.5 - $3.90)

Justified the short quote ($1.40) to win at Geelong last start. Up in class and distance but need only hold form to be winning again.

VALUE BET

HER EMPIRE (R1 No.7 - $8.50)

Eight-start maiden but placed on four occasions. Third-up should be at peak fitness and running on strongly with Brett Prebble in the saddle. Drawn perfectly to figure in the finish.

ZOUTELLUS (R2 No.6 - $5.50)

Bursting to win a race, having gone almost 12 months without success. Placed past two starts at Geelong and Sandown Hillside when ridden on speed. Craig Williams sticks.
