JOCKEY TO FOLLOW

Pierro filly who is improving with each passing day. Ran a big race at Newcastle at $101 last start.
NEXT BEST
Race 3, No.7: MISS MILTON
Still a maiden after eight starts but placed at half of them and probably should have won the 2021 Inglis Challenge.
VALUE BET

Ran fifth here second-up but was unlucky not to have finished on the podium.
THE INSIDE MAIL FOR HAWKESBURY
RACE 1
Satness is a son of John O’Shea’s Gloaming Stakes winner and NZ resident stallion, Sweynesse. The gelding has raced 11 times for five placings including a couple at Kembla this preparation. Stuck to his guns at Goulburn last time and finds the perfect race at the perfect time for a well-earned win. Stablemate, and Savabeel son, Powerbeel will be whacking away and that might be enough to take this out. Blackall has been costly but could reward the faithful here in a moderate line-up.
Bet: Satness to win, exacta 6 to beat 5
RACE 2
Feirme Prince is a Matthew Dunn-trained gelding who was outclassed in the Victory Vein behind Captivant on debut but has run three good races since. None of them any better than his third to one-time Country Championship Finalist Far Too Easy which reads well for this. Big watch on the debutant Tambourine Man who has the advantage of having his first start at his home track. Has been trialling well. Ditto that for the Gwenda Markwell trained Forever Invincible whose grandam, Pekalan, won the Belle Of The Turf at Gosford.
Bet: Feirme Prince to win, quinella 2,8
RACE 3
Good luck to apprentice Olivia Chambers here who is having her third race ride here. Chambers steers the Gwenda Markwell trained Topple here who’s already bright prospects rose considerably with numerous scratchings. Ran third at home last start and ready to win. Sacred Alba was hard in the market and very well fancied when she clocked in a distant and fading third on debut at Goulburn but it wasn’t all bad. Open to improvement too being second-up. Pharoah’s Reign is bred to get better as time goes on. Trials have been rock solid.
Bet: Topple to win
RACE 4
Yankees is trained here by Garry Frazer, the daughter of American Pharoah wears the famous White family’s colours of her ‘aunty’ Spright with whom Frazer won a Robert Sangster. Take note also that her dam, Mine Two, was a very smart two-year-old. Clearly Yankees will need to be talented and on song to beat Cool Reception. The Kerry Parker-trained filly has placed at two of her three runs and is perfectly placed for a first win on numerous levels, not least her draw and Tommy Berry. Celtic Moon trialled well and her dam won 10 races so she is bred to gallop.
Bet: Yankees to win, quinella 4,11
RACE 5
Eberlee is a consistent daughter of Epaulette reflected in her C.V of 18 starts for two wins and seven placings. The Theresa Bateup-trained four-year-old is, importantly, adept on wet tracks with a win and four placings on Heavy going. Very fit, just needs a good ride from the outside draw. Miss Checkoni will find Tuesday’s race considerably easier than her last start when she went to Canterbury and although last on the day, it was a Heavy 10 in town. Kyalla is now trained by Brad Widdup and a is a market watch. Hollywood Gossip is a Warwick Farm winner.
Bet: Eberlee to win
RACE 6
Spectrometer is the aforementioned 4kg claimer Olivia Chambers second ride on the day and her fourth race ride. On Tuesday, Chambers will ride a very handsome Exosphere replica who has won first-up and is unbeaten on her two Soft tracks runs. Has looked the part in his two trials. William Pike mount Lady Shenanigans has only won two out of 20 but he has placed five times. He won as recently as two starts ago and followed that up with a super sound second at Goulburn which was his third ‘second’ from five Heavy runs. He’s Super Lucky has the highest benchmark rating in this race.
Bet: Spectrometer to win
RACE 7
Norm Gardner-bred gelding Cyborg has raced 29 times and finished first or second 10 times; six of them are wins. On top of that, the son of Magic Albert is a Heavy track winner and comes off a last start nose second at Kembla on a heavy 9. Go well. The Maxinator gets through it well enough to consider here. Best of all, the Gary Portelli-trained gelding has raced at Hawkesbury three times for a win and a second. Poseidon Jewel is a last start track and distance winner with Tommy Berry in the saddle (again).
Bet: Cyborg to win, box trifecta 2,4,7,8
RACE 8
Stellar Performer has raced 10 times and won or placed at half of them. A three-time winner by Sebring, the Brad Widdup-trained local hasn’t won on heavy ground but it won’t be an excuse for her if she happens to be beaten given her previous runs on the slop. King Of Spades is a John O’Shea-trained son the Newhaven Park sire Xtravgant who has to overcome a wide draw but has Tommy Berry to ride and is a last start winner. Viren has won here first-up before and won easily that day.
Bet: Stellar Performer to win
