BEAT THE BOOKIE: VALUE BETS

MOONEE VALLEY

ROD NICHOLSON (Herald Sun). Form: 23342

CLUB STAR

Race 6, No. 11

Looks well-placed going for hat-trick. Working well and reasonable odds.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.35

MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun). Form: 31142

CLUB STAR

Race 6, No. 11

Made it two from two this campaign when he toyed with rivals to win by three lengths at Kyneton. Looks to have more potential than his rivals and 1600m should suit.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.35

DANNY RUSSELL (Herald Sun). Form: 80041

FAATINAH

Race 2, No. 4

Drawn to camp on the speed and will enjoy stretching out to the 1200m. Dwayne Dunn takes the ride.

TAB Fixed Odds: $4.40

DARYL TIMMS (Herald Sun). Form: 47015

CLUB STAR

Race 6, No. 11

Bolted in last start and is up to making it three in a row.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.35

ROSEHILL

NIC ASHMAN (Daily Telegraph). Form: 82336

DUBLIN LASS

Race 5, No. 3

Building a terrific overall record and brilliantly placed here at the weights by Snowden Racing. Very good first-up and draws perfectly.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.60

LISTEN TO THE SUPERRACING PREVIEW OF ROSEHILL

STEPHEN ZAMMIT (Daily Telegraph). Form: 72694

THAT’S A GOOD IDEA

Race 5, No. 1

Team Snowden have this gelding ready to win again. He finished a great third behind topliners Terravista and Rebel Dane at Randwick on October 3, then made the pace when just beaten by Dothraki over 1100m there on October 17. Has had two recent trials and will give these something to chase.

TAB Fixed Odds: $3.20

JOHN DAVIS (Daily Telegraph). Form: 52231

RELIGIFY

Race 9, No. 5

Has returned in magnificent fettle and despite getting up in the weights, is clearly the galloper to beat. Has an imposing local record and will take catching again.

TAB Fixed Odds: $3.60

SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman). Form: 05374

LUCY’S LOOK

Race 6, No. 12

Is deadset flying. I know Chris Waller’s horses tend to hit the line full of running in their heats but fair dinkum, Lucy’s Look has been as good as any horse you could nominate at the trials without winning. I love a Lonhro fresh and Lucy’s Look seems wound-up for the win to me. She has a soft draw in barrier 2 for Kerrin McEvoy and she is on the limit weight too. Very keen on her.

TAB Fixed Odds: $12

DARREN PRENDERGAST (Superracing). Form: 34635

DUBLIN LASS

Race 5, No. 3

Resumed with narrow second on heavy track at Flemington on November 5. Returns to Sydney and will appreciate firmer surface on a track where she is one start for one win.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.60

NICK QUINN (TAB). Form: 31113

DUBLIN LASS

Race 5, No. 3

Classy sprinter from the Snowden stable who resumed from a spell with a narrow defeat at Flemington on Oaks day and will find this much easier.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.60

DOOMBEN

NATHAN EXELBY (The Courier-Mail). Form: 43373

SPOT THE DIFF

Race 1, No. 1

Has a few unraced ones to contend with but her two starts have been very good in solid times. Will be strong at the end and drawn to stay in touch.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.35

BRAD DAVIDSON (Gold Coast Bulletin). Form: 14324

DANTGA

Race 4, No. 9

Lost no admirers with his close third to Espiritu first-up and from the better draw he should be able to settle midfield and give this a big shake. The $5 looks a touch of overs and he has plenty of upside.

TAB Fixed Odds: $4.80

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Superracing). Form: 23106

CHILLIN WITH DYLAN

Race 2, No. 1

On the back-up after a luckless run in the Recognition Stakes. Should be looking for the 2200m now and expecting a more forward showing from barrier 6.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.30

MORPHETTVILLE

LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser). Form: 40x28

STRATUMSPHERE

Race 5, No. 1

Solid effort here last time out at second start for the Ciaron Maher stable when he sat outside Jennyfromtheblock and took it right up to the speedy local. Fitter, gets in well with the claim for Caitlin Jones and should take beating.

TAB Fixed Odds: $2.40
