A first up date with the Expressway Stakes this month looms for talented Chris Waller-trained duo Kolding and Star Of The Seas after both successfully navigated their respective Rosehill trials on Monday morning.
Dual Group 1 winner Kolding was stepping out for the first time since finishing back in the field in the Cox Plate.
The son of Ocean Park looked to have returned in outstanding order when strolling along at his own leisure, finishing within a length of the winner in a blanket finish.
Kolding was fifth across the line the 900m hit out won by Godolphin’s Aquataine in 55.16 seconds (last 600m in 33.55sec).
It was a compact finish to Trial 11 at @rosehillgardens with Aquitaine for @Godolphin taking it out.

Stablemate Star Of The Seas lined up in the following heat over 900m and the Doncaster Mile runner-up had an easy day out.
Jockey Kathy O’Hara had a firm grip on the talented gelding, which finished last of nine runners and 2-1/2 lengths off the winner Tailleur.
Waller plans for both horses to return at the end of the month in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill alongside stablemate Imaging.
“It is not normally a strong race for us the Expressway with the likes of Winx going to 1400m (first up) but those boys will start at the 1400m,” Waller said.
