Jarryd Hayne gets mad at Green Bay punting, confuses teammate in mic’d up 49ers video

JARRYD Hayne asked teammate Vernon Davis why Green Bay Packers punter Tim Masthay was kicking the ball away from him and out of bounds.

Hayne wore a microphone throughout the game against the Packers and was recorded in several interesting exchanges.

The most fascinating was his sideline discussion with Davis, who missed the game with a knee injury, during which Hayne made clear he wanted more ball in hand.

“It’s only my fourth game and why don’t you kick it to me for?” Hayne asked. “C’mon, man. It’s only my fourth game.”

Davis replied: “Jarryd, that’s a good thing, though. That means you’re dangerous, bro.”

Hayne: “I want to return it, though.”

Hayne also had a funny moment where his compliment to a teammate appeared to be briefly lost thanks to either his enthusiasm or his Aussie accent.
