Tony Brassel’s Top 5 for The Everest: “Drawn on the rail, it’s far from the perfect gate according to co-trainer Peter Moody whose programming hasn’t looked too perfect, either”.

Runner-by-runner guide: King Charles III Stakes: “The winner of 10 of his 14 mile starts and he’s unbeaten at Randwick. Perfectly drawn.”

CAULFIELD (CAULFIELD GUINEAS DAY)

Mark Guest’s race-by-race analysis for Caulfield Guineas Day: “Lightly-framed and lightly-raced import. Has turned in several worthwhile runs when fresh and the Euro staying blood never goes astray Down Under.”

Tony Brassel’s Top 5 for the Caulfield Guineas: “Like The Autumn Sun, Militarize comes into the Guineas straight off a Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m) victory at Rosehill”

Caulfield Guineas runner-by-runner guide: “Will relish getting out to a mile and it’s worth noting he was five weeks between runs going into that Golden Rose. The stable will have him ready to fire and he maps to get a good run from a middle alley.”

RANDWICK AND CAULFIELD

Jockey inside mail: Nash Rawiller, Tim Clark, Blake Shinn and John Allen on their rides: “He’s getting up to the trip that should really suit him now. He’s been set for the Spring Champion so I’m expecting him to put his hand up again”

Trainer inside mail: Peter Moody and the Chris Waller stable: “She’s a really talented filly. We like her quite a lot. She has excellent readings on E-Trakka, stride length analysis and things like that”

The Armchair Punter’s tips across Randwick and Caulfield: “I’m especially keen to bet in the Caulfield Guineas where there’s a bona fide star running around and I reckon it’s virtually a case of ‘put in – take out’

The Everest runner-by-runner guide: “Every new challenge thrown at him – he’s come through with flying colours including his two goes at weight-for-age when winning the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup in May and the Group 2 Premiere Stakes first-up a fortnight ago.”

NEW SOUTH WALES

VICTORIA

QUEENSLAND

Graeme Carey’s race-by-race preview for Eagle Farm: “He has handled a seven-day back-up successfully in the past and will appreciate dropping back to 1600m in this class. He makes his own luck and Ryan Maloney will ensure every post a winner”.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA / WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Heath Pope (Morphettville) and Aaron Mills’ (Ascot) tips: “The run was a total forgive and while she finished last, she raced no closer than five wide, without cover. Plummets a massive 7.5kg and maps to enjoy a much softer run, sitting just off what should be a good tempo”.
