Prince Harry has warned UFC commentator Joe Rogan to “watch what comes out of his mouth” after the host said young people don’t need to get vaccinated because they are “fit and healthy.”

The podcast host of the popular Spotify program, The Joe Rogan Experience had previously faced backlash for his comments about the Covid-19 jab.

The Hollywood star and popular broadcaster had previously faced backlash for his comments about the COVID-19 jab.

Speaking on his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan experience, Rogan said “for the most part it’s safe to get vaccinated”, but doesn’t believe those who are young and healthy should get the jab.

He then back-pedalled on his claim earlier this month, insisting he’s “not an anti-vax person.”

Now the Duke of Sussex has joined the backlash towards Rogan, telling the comedian he should have chosen his words more carefully, The Sun reports.

Speaking to the Armchair Expert podcast, he said: “The issue is in today’s world with misinformation endemic, you’ve got to be careful about what comes out of your mouth.”

Prince Harry added that would have been better for Rogan to “stay out of it” and that “with a platform comes responsibility.”

Prince Harry’s comment comes after the 53-year-old podcast star said to millions of people that youngsters do not need the vaccine.

“If you’re like 21 years old, and you say to me, Should I get vaccinated? I’ll go no.

“If you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this,” he said at the time.

His remarks came as President Joe Biden pleaded with youngsters to “go get vaccinated now.”

After being slammed for his comments, the podcast star called himself “a f**king moron.”

“I’m not a doctor, I’m a f**king moron, and I’m a cage-fighting commentator who is a dirty stand-up comedian,” he said.

“I’m drunk most of the time, and I do testosterone and I smoke a lot of weed.

“I’m not a respected source of information, even for me ... But I at least try to be honest about what I’m saying.

“I’m not an anti-vaxx person.

“I said I believe they’re safe and I encourage many people to take them.”

Rogan also acknowledged claims by the nation’s top infectious disease expert Dr Fauci and the White House that his comments were incorrect — but stopped short of admitting he was wrong.

“There’s some legitimate science behind this … Their argument was, you need it for other people,” he said. “But that’s a different argument. That’s a different conversation.”
