Paris Olympics ‘24: High jump champion full of praise for her Aussie rivals, among several Olympic winners at Omega party
Several gold medallists, including high jump champ Yaroslava Mahuchikh and French hero Marie-Jose Perec, have stepped out at Omega House in Paris to celebrate a fortnight of incredible competition.

Ukrainian high jump gold medallist Yaroslava Mahuchikh is full of praise for our Australian stars who she says push her to greater heights.
World record holder Mahuchikh stood on the podium with silver medallist Nicola Olyslagers and bronze medallist Eleanor Patterson, after clearing 2 metres to win.
“It’s really cool we have competitive atmosphere really, we push each other and we change places every competition,” Mahuchikh said.
“It’s really fantastic and I’m really happy to compete with these girls and maybe be inspiration for them.”
Mahuchikh stepped out at Omega House for a celebration of athletes which featured French legend Marie-Jose Perec.
Other athletes in attendance included Saint Lucien 100m women’s champion Julien Alfred, Great Britain gold medal rower Emily Craig and Netherlands gold medal rowers Ymkje Clevering and Veronique Meester.
There were also a raft of silver and bronze medallists proudly showing off their new accessories.
Omega House will finish its two week Olympics run with a star-studded closing party on Saturday night.
Stars who have attended so far include Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Leon Marchand and Michael Phelps.
