GREAT Britain has broken the team pursuit world record to win gold in a thrilling final against Australia in Rio.
The quartet of Jack Bobridge, Michael Hepburn, Alex Edmondson and Sam Welsford rode 3:51.008 as the Brits went 3:50.205.
Australia only scraped into the final against GB by beating Denmark by just 0.1 of a second when they rested Bobridge and brought in Callum Scotson.
