The Kid LAROI to perform at 2024 NRL grand final

After hanging out with NRL players in Las Vegas earlier this year, a Grammy nominated star and proud Rabbitohs supporter will headline the entertainment at the 2024 NRL grand final.

He began the year hanging out with NRL players prior to the game’s historic Las Vegas kick-off.

Now chart-topping artist The Kid LAROI will close the NRL’s drama-charged season by performing at the 2024 grand final.

The Grammy nominated star and proud Rabbitohs supporter will headline the biggest game of the year, to be held at Accor Stadium on October 6.

“As a young kid growing up in Sydney, I would drive past Rabbitohs training at Redfern Oval dreaming of playing rugby league and making music and now I’m going to have this pinch myself moment of playing my music in front of a roaring crowd of rugby league fans on Grand Final day. It really doesn’t get much better than that,” The Kid LAROI said from his base in LA.

The Kid LAROI, who met South Sydney’s Cody Walker and Jai Arrow prior to this year’s season launch in the US last March, burst onto the scene in 2021, with “Stay” and “Without You” combined boasting over four billion streams on Spotify and peaked at no.1 in multiple countries including the US.

“He is one of the biggest music stars on the planet, and he also has rugby league in his DNA having grown up in South Sydney and followed his beloved Rabbitohs from a very young age.

“He is set to supercharge an unbelievable day of grand final football.’’

The NRL’s grand final day announcement comes in the wake of the AFL’s lure of Katy Perry to headline grand final day at the MCG.
