New Zealand have re-signed captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to a four-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2022.
The Warriors announced the move at their season launch on Tuesday.
“I’m excited knowing my future will be with the Vodafone Warriors for another four years after this season,” said Tuivasa-Sheck.
“I’m also glad to be able to sort it out now before the season starts.
“We’ve had some challenging times but all of us are working really hard to turn things around this season and in the years ahead.”
The Kiwi Test fullback joined his hometown club from the Roosters in 2016 but has struggled to hit his straps after an ACL injury two years ago.
Nevertheless, he was appointed captain last season and at 24 is still in the prime of his career.
“Roger’s a wonderful player and also a wonderful person,” said Warriors coach Stephen Kearney.

“He sets an example in all he does as a player on the field and in all aspects of training as well as looking after himself off the field.
“He’s a tremendous asset for the Vodafone Warriors and has a huge appetite to improve each and every day.”
The light-stepping Tuivasa-Sheck reportedly considered a move to rugby union before recommitting to the Warriors.
