WARRIORS prop Charlie Gubb has been hit with a seven game ban for a shoulder charge on Manly counterpart Darcy Lussick.
Gubb was cited for the shot in New Zealand’s golden point defeat to the Sea Eagles in Perth on Saturday night with the hefty ban coming as a result of the 26-year old’s chequered history with the judiciary.
Loading from previous shoulder charge offences turned what was originally a three game ban into seven matches, or five with an early plea.
Gubb plead guilty but unsuccessfully disputed the grading of the charge, meaning he will not play again this season unless the Warriors make the second week of the finals.
