Tom Trbojevic, Ashley Taylor, Gideon Mosby named in 2015 Under 20s team of the year

TOM Trbojevic, Gideon Mosby and Ashley Taylor have all been named in the 2015 Under 20s team of the year.

STAR Manly rookie Tom Trbojevic has rounded out a strong all-round season by being named in the 2015 Under 20s team of the year.

Despite only appearing in a handful of matches, Trboejvic looked a class above the competition at times and was a clear choice at fullback.

Record breaking Cowboys winger Gideon Mosby, who has scored a competition record 38 tries so far this season was one of three North Queenslanders named in the team, alongside prop Villiame Kikau and second rower Coen Hess.

Brisbane had the highest representation with six players gaining selection.

Centre Jordan Drew, halfback Ashley Taylor, prop Joe Ofahengaue, hooker Jayden Berrell, lock forward Jai Arrow and five-eighth Jayden Nikorima were all selected from the 3rd placed Broncos.

Knights hooker Danny Levi and Tigers five-eighth Te Maire Martin were both selected for the second time after being named in the 2014 team of the year.

Levi was the only player from a non-finals team to make the 17.

Highly touted fullback Latrell Mitchell was selected on the interchange bench and his Roosters teammate Joseph Manu was picked on the wing.

Ashley Taylor made his first grade debut in Round 26.

Bulldozing centre Addison Demetriou rounds out an impressive backline, while Raiders forward Bruising Raiders Tevita Pangai Junior was named in the second row, despite playing much of the season at prop, while Penrith centre Brent Naden was named on the bench.

Surprisingly, Naden was the only player from the minor premiership winning Panthers to win selection, but rookie Penrith coach Cameron Ciraldo was named as coach of the year after steering the Panthers to a 20-4 regular season record.
