Roosters re-sign Luke Keary and Jake Friend

THE Roosters have wasted no time moving on from Mitchell Pearce, extending the contracts of Luke Keary and Jake Friend.

THE Roosters have wasted no time moving on from Mitchell Pearce, extending the futures of Luke Keary and Jake Friend.

Keary has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal, while co-captain Friend has extended his contract at the Roosters for a further two seasons.

Both were off contract at the end of next season however Keary will remain in the tricolours until 2021 while Friend will take his club tenure to 12 years by playing on until 2020 after originally making his debut with the club in 2008.
