Powerhouse forward Viliame Kikau will stay with Penrith until the end of 2022
PENRITH have received a boost with Fijian powerhouse Viliame Kikau signing a new deal with the club that will see him remain a Panther until the end of 2022.

STAR backrower Viliame Kikau has re-signed with Penrith and will remain a Panther until the end of 2022.
The Fijian international has become a fan favourite since his debut in Round 2 of last year and is shaping as one of the most promising backrowers in the competition.
“It’s very exciting to know I’ll be at Panthers for the next few years,” Kikau said.
“There are so many talented players at the club and I really enjoy their company.
“It was a big decision to re-sign and I made it with the full support of my family, which is most important to me.
“I know this is just the beginning and I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
After starring in the Under 20s for the Cowboys, Kikau joined Penrith in 2016 before debuting against the Tigers the following year.
A stellar World Cup campaign for Fiji propelled him into stardom this season, where his powerful running and deft skills have made him a fixture on Penrith’s left edge.

“Viliame is an incredible young man,” said Panthers GM Phil Gould.
“His story is a source of inspiration for all youngsters who dream of playing in the NRL, not the least of which will be the many young kids from his homeland in Fiji.
“We are very lucky to have him at our club as ‘Billy’ has now established himself as one of the most promising forwards in the NRL.
“We are excited and so grateful he has agreed to extend his contract with Panthers.”
