PENRITH coach Anthony Griffin refused to discuss the uncertain future surrounding captain Matt Moylan following their big loss to Manly on Saturday night.
A day after CEO Brian Fletcher conceded Moylan was a 50/50 chance to remain, the Panthers delivered a forgettable performance to all but extinguish their title aspirations.
The huge defeat has come at the worst time, with Moylan to meet club officials tomorrow to discuss his future.
The Test and Origin star is understood to be unhappy, prompting rival clubs to ask about his services with four years left on his contract.

“I’m not going to make a comment on those (Fletcher’s) comments,” Griffin said.
“I haven’t read the media and it didn’t come from us, so we won’t be commenting on that.”
Asked if he’d be meeting Moylan and his management, Griffin said: “I meet with all my players, but I won’t be commenting on what has been in the media and we will deal with it in-house.”
Griffin also isn’t confident Moylan (hamstring) and Dylan Edwards (knee) will be fit to face Manly or Cronulla in next weekend’s elimination final.
“No, I’m not,” he said.
“They are both still in rehab, so the team we had out there tonight can do a better job.
“We’ll assess those guys and see what happens.”
