JAMIE Soward’s NRL career appears to be officially over after the Panthers released the veteran five-eighth to take up a deal in England.
Soward was dropped to NSW Cup several weeks ago and a move away from Penrith had been rumoured for some time.

The 31-year old will rejoin the London Broncos after playing nine matches at the club in 2013.
Soward spent three years with the Panthers, scoring eight tries, kicking 116 goals and one field goal for 265 points.

The highlight of his time with the club was a memorable run to the preliminary final in 2014.
Soward made his first grade debut for the Roosters in 2005 and won a premiership with the Dragons in 2010.
All told, he played 218 matches, scored 54 tries, kicked 522 goals and 27 field goals.
