MICHAEL Ennis is free to play in the Sharks NRL finals showdown against the Cowboys despite being charged with a Grade One careless high tackle.

Ennis can escape suspension with an early guilty plea despite the addition of loading for prior offences.

The veteran dummy half was put on report for his 69th minute tackle on Wade Graham in the Sharks 28-12 win over the Rabbitohs on Sunday.

Bulldogs backrower Frank Pritchard wasn’t so lucky and is set to miss Canterbury’s sudden death final against the Roosters after being charged with Grade One Dangerous Contact.

Following a charge down of a Gareth Widdop field goal attempt in the 74th minute of the Dogs 11-10 win over the Dragons, Pritchard dropped his knees onto Widdop as he attempted to secure a loose ball.

Originally, Pritchard would have avoided suspension with an early guilty plea but he had 51 carry over points added and will now miss one game regardless of his plea.

With the veteran second rower leaving the club at the end of the season, he seems certain to fight the charge.

Rabbitohs five-eighth Luke Keary is set to miss the opening round of 2016 after being charged with Grade One Dangerous Contact of the Head/Neck.

Keary could have avoided suspension with an early guilty plea were it not for 40 carry over points added to his base charge.

He now faces a one-match ban regardless of his plea.

Greg Inglis was charged with a Grade One Careless high tackle but will be free to play with an early plea.
