The one way to improve the Bunker and why Ricky Stuart owes Nathan Brown
The one way to improve the Bunker and why the Raiders owe a debt to new Knights coach Nathan Brown.

THERE is one area of the game involving the video bunker that can be improved even more.
We have got to stop the on-field referees from guessing whether it’s a try or not.
If they go to the bunker it means they are unsure.
So why do they have to have an opinion?
It’s become embarrassing because the referees are constantly being shown up for making mistakes.
Twice within three minutes at ANZ Stadium Gavin Badger ruled tries that were overturned in the bunker. It’s happening unnecessarily in every game.
BROWN TO THANK FOR RICKY’S REVIVAL
RICKY Stuart can thank Knights coach Nathan Brown for Saturday’s win over the Roosters.
Two years ago when Brown was coaching in the UK Super League, Stuart rang him looking for a hooker. Brown nominated Josh Hodgson from Hull Kingston Rovers.
On Saturday in Canberra it was Hodgson’s magnificent 40-20 kick towards the end that got the Raiders home in a thriller against the Roosters.

NEW MAN: NRL expected to announce new CEO
This guy is right up there alongside Cameron Smith, Jake Granville, Robbie Farah and Michael Ennis among the best hookers in the NRL.
SHARP MUST STEP DOWN
Steve Sharp should step down from the Eels board for no other reason then to protect his positive legacy.
Sharp fought hard to bring Brad Arthur to the club, restored the financial strength of the leagues club and built the new Eels training centre.
Despite the salary cap mess he would leave the club in a much better place then when he started.
