THE position of Parramatta coach Brad Arthur has come under-fire following the club’s horrid start to the 2018 season.
The Eels sit last on the NRL ladder with two wins and nine losses to their name and are virtually no chance of playing finals football this year.
Arthur’s men have failed to live up to pre-season expectations following a successful 2017 campaign that saw the club make a late surge to finish fourth on the ladder.

Speaking on Monday Bunker, Daily Telegraph writer Paul Crawley put a serious question mark on Arthur’s future in blue and gold.
“Brad Arthur has put this squad together, he’s had time to put this squad together,” Crawley said.
“The retention at that club is the one thing that’s really let down his coaching in my opinion.
“They brought in guys like Kieran Foran, it did not work out. Kane Evans has been a disaster. Anthony Watmough was a disaster.
“Some of the players that they’ve pinned their hopes on, to me, aren’t the marquee players you build your club around, they lack leadership.”
Colleague Matt Logue felt differently, believing Arthur has done enough to warrant more security in his position at the club.
‘No I don’t think he is (under-pressure), not at this stage,” Logue said.
“I think what he did last year was incredible. I think a lot of it has to go onto the playing group.”
