THE draw for the 2017 Auckland Nines has been confirmed.

With the annual pre-season tournament entering its fourth season, four different clubs have taken out the title since the Cowboys won the inaugural competition in 2014.

Parramatta defeated the Warriors in last year’s final but had the title stripped as part of the sanctions levelled at the blue and golds for cheating the salary cap.

The Eels won the 2016 tournament.

The 2017 tournament may be the most star-studded yet with Jarryd Hayne, Johnathan Thurston Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck all expected to take part.
