MILLION-DOLLAR NRL rookie Moses Suli has quit the Wests Tigers to join the Canterbury Bulldogs for the 2018 season.

The 19-year-old centre-winger signed a $1.3 million deal with the Wests Tigers just 12 months ago before he had even played first grade. He was a Parramatta Eels junior.

The Daily Telegraph understands Suli has wanted out from the Wests Tigers for several months.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe confirmed there had been issues with the Tongan international.

“Moses is an exceptionally talented player,” Pascoe said, “That’s why over the last 12 months our coaching and personal development staff have dedicated so much time and energy in supporting Moses with his challenges, both on and off the field.”

He played 16 NRL games for the Wests Tigers last season.

His signing is a massive boost for the Bulldogs who have been short on quality outside backs.
