PREMIERSHIP-winning Bulldogs prop Paul Dunn says Des Hasler’s departure won’t stop him and a group of club legends from forming a rebel ticket to take down the current Canterbury management.
Dunn welcomed Hasler’s sacking at Belmore, but admitted the club still had issues it needed to address.
It’s why the ex-Bulldogs bookend says he is seriously considering challenging the club’s hierarchy at the next election in February.
“We are still working on that,” Dunn told The Daily Telegraph about members of Canterbury’s Ambassador Club forming a rival ticket.
“But I don’t think changing the coach is going to change anything.
“All the other areas that weren’t good won’t just change because the coach has left.
“I found it hard when they re-signed him (Des).
“They are saying he didn’t actually have a contract.
“They’ll probably end up in court and it costing them a lot more.”
