The St Mary’s dynamos were at the heart and soul of Country’s 38-4 thumping, combining for six try assists as the bushies ran riot at Dolphin Stadium.

Two-try scorer John Radel was in awe of his teammates, describing their efforts as “bloody good”.

“They were just unreal today — Paixy, Keanu and Shaun, they’ve been brilliant all year,” he said.

“We only came into camp on Thursday but it was a great win and they were a big part of it.”

All three are contracted to Brisbane and the Broncos would do well to retain their services after Sunday’s exploits.

Wright-Dunrobin opened the try-scoring inside three minutes before Packer sent Radel and Ragarive Wavik over to hand Country a 18-point advantage as City struggled to keep up.

Livewire City fullback Tuvalli Pereira slid over midway through the half to give his side hope but Xavier Chatfield-Mooka’s reply four minutes from halftime proved a fell blow.

From there, it was the Nanai Show as the Cowboys development player collected three second-half tries before Radel completed his double to round out proceedings.
