NEED an edge as we get to the business end of the SuperCoach season?

Look no further than 2014 SuperCoach champion Dave Von Kotze, as he reviews all three of Saturday’s matches and previews both of Sunday’s games.

WESTS TIGERS V NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS

•Tyrone Roberts (75) scored a double to put a smile on the face of new coach Danny Buderus and all those who chose him for their Perfect Eight teams this week.

•Kade Snowden continued his breakout season with another solid score of 60 points made up entirely of base stats.

•James Tedesco scored his 16th try of the year to once again top score for the Tigers with 62 points.

•It was not a Super Saturday for Aaron Woods and his 13,505 owners with the big bustling Blues front rower leaving the field in the first half after injuring his medial ligament with only seven SuperCoach points to his name.

PENRITH PANTHERS V NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS

•Tyrone Peachey was magnificent for the chocky soldiers and was oozing natural talent, putting in a career best performance of 128 points. Peachey scored a super try and sliced through the Warriors defence like a knife through hot butter on four occasions to deliver this tremendous score.

•While on the topic of natural talent, Bryce Cartwright played extended minutes and provided four effective offloads to post a well-earned 75 points.

•Simon Mannering was rock solid for the Warriors and his owners, leading by example all game to grind out 66 points.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS V PARRAMATTA EELS

•He bashed, he crashed, he thrashed, he smashed and if there were any more rhyming words that could be used to describe Jared Waerea-Hargreaves’ unbelievable try they would be used. JWH celebrated becoming a new dad with a bang, knocking out an impressive 92 points and has surely played himself back into a New Zealand jumper with this great run of form.

•Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was once again and out and out SuperCoach weapon. RTS made four effective offloads, seven tackle busts and split the line to score his fourth try in two weeks for a lovely 90 points.

•Despite a relatively quiet game on the left wing, the competition’s leading try scorer Semi Radradra added another meat pie to the tally scoring with a line break for 55 points.

Can anyone stop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves?

WHAT WE KNOW TODAY

•SuperCoaches who have structured their team around Canberra’s soft run home will have plenty of interest in today’s match-up with popular players Shaun Fensom, Jarrod Croker, Blake Austin and Josh Papalii all looking for big minutes and big scores to keep their season alive.

•The afternoon game takes us once again to the sunny Central Coast and Michael Lichaa should strap the boots on for the Bulldogs today. SuperCoaches who still own Lichaa may need to call on his services for the remainder of the season if Issac Luke is suspended and James Segeyaro continues plays off the bench.

•Owners of the Morris brothers will be hoping the twins can light up the left side attack for the Bulldogs and deliver crucial points to seal victory in head to head finals.
