SEA EAGLES v EELS

Michael Jennings (70) — has responded to recent press that he is in a dogfight for his spot in the Blues team by scoring two doubles in as many weeks. Current Radradra owners have their fingers crossed and toes for that matter that Jennings retains his representative gig to allow Semi more opportunities with the ball.

Corey Norman (60) — has orchestrated six try-assists over the past fortnight and is currently going gangbusters for the Eels. Norman also made a line-break and SuperCoaches who have him on their watch lists may need to act fast as he beat his breakeven by 62 points, will maintain a low breakeven next week and will now smash through the $300,000 mark prior to round eight.

Semi Radradra (83) — played himself right back into contention as one of the must-haves throughout the bye period and won’t drop in value as much as potential owners had hoped for only falling shy of his huge 126 breakeven by 43 points. Radradra made the most of any ball he received against Manly grabbing a late try and making defenders look like amateurs to break the line three times throughout the game. SuperCoaches looking to enlist in the services of the ‘Semi Trailer’ can do so next round for around $375,000 if his score stays at 83.

Jake Trbojevic (59) — gave owners a tiny scare when he left the field just before halftime to have a concussion test but returned straight after the break to only miss four minutes of game time. JTurbo made 39 tackles, 12 hit-ups and an effective offload.

Kenny Edwards (55) — scored with a PPM of 1.1 as a result of 10 hit-ups, 22 tackles and 4 effective offloads to beat his breakeven by 17 points.

Daniel Alvaro (47) — played 37 minutes in his second game of the year and scored at over a point per minute with 13 hit-ups, 27 tackles and 2 tackle-busts. Will see his first price rise next week from $195,900 should he retain his spot.

Tepai Moeroa (27) — copped a lower leg injury early and tried his best to soldier on but succumbed before halftime only playing 30 minutes. Moeroa looked to be icing his shin on the bench in the second half.

Beau Scott (27) — the Parramatta war horse doesn’t appear to be firing on all cylinders at the

moment. Scott made a huge try saving tackle on Tom Trbojevic (41) but has only played 53 minutes suggesting he may still be carrying an injury from the Canberra game last week where he only played 34 minutes.

Apisai Koroisau’s numbers are starting to drop.

Apisai Koroisau (34) — an incredible run over the past fortnight which has seen him average 100 has hit the skids. Api’s SuperCoach output was probably part of the ripple effect caused by the late withdrawal of Matt Parcell as he spent a large portion of the game playing at dummy-half. Will still make $32,000 for his 1280 owners this week.

Matt Parcell (DNP) — was part of the reason all hell broke loose on the Countdown show and in SuperCoach world as 28,541 Parcell owners scrambled to find another hooker option when final teams were named. Parcell was a late omission as a result of a hamstring strain that could keep him sidelined until round nine.

Brenton Lawrence (DNP) — also didn’t make the final team after pulling out with a hip injury but early mail suggests he could be set for a return next week.

COWBOYS v RABBITOHS

Johnathan Thurston (115) — scored a try and cracked the ton for the first time this year to post his highest score of the season so far. Complimented his try with two try-assists, 6 goals, 18 tackles, 3 tackle-busts, a line-break and 3 line-break assists to reward those who put the ‘orange C’ on him for double points.

Adam Reynolds (77) — made a strong return after sitting on the sidelines since round one with a

broken jaw to top-score for the Bunnies pre-updates with an intercept try, try-assist, 3 goals, 18

tackles and offload and 5 runs.

Sam Burgess (75) — played 74 minutes and pounced on a kick to grab a late try to score at just over a point per minute. Burgess made 11 strong carries over the 8m mark, made 36 tackles and will be credited for an effective offload as the rolling updates come in.

Ethan Lowe (62) — had 14,549 SuperCoaches worried when he was sitting with less than 20 points at the 50 minute mark before grabbing a try with a line-break to keep his score respectable. If he keeps his current score he will remain with a price tag just below $400,000 after missing his breakeven of 68.

Gavin Cooper (72) — scored his third try in as many weeks and will also give the $400,000 price range a nudge this week after exceeding his breakeven by 36 points. Cooper will offer coverage during rounds 12 and 18, however, without Johnathan Thurston steering the ship during those games, his effectiveness will probably not be as high.

Jason Taumalolo (39) — due to 11 tries being scored in the match, there were plenty of stoppages and when the game was sealed by the Cowboys, the services of Taumalolo weren’t required with the hulking lock only playing 44 minutes.

Greg Inglis is set to fall below the $300,000 mark.

Greg Inglis (25) — the downward spiral that is Greg Inglis’ SuperCoach season continues with the great man set to lose another $15,000 of value this week. Inglis left the field in the 68th minute for a concussion test after a tackle by Matt Scott that saw him placed on report and will amazingly fall in value below the $300,000 mark next round.

Nathan Brown (19) — has made over $100,000 for the 4 per cent that picked him up this year but looks destined to be traded after only playing 21 minutes of game time due to the return of Sam Burgess at lock.

Hymel Hunt (26) — one of the best early season cash cows making $118,000 for owners but will be owned by far less than his current 18 per cent ownership next round after falling 39 points short of his breakeven. Hunt could also have a case to answer next week at the judiciary after being placed on report for a high shot on Gavin Cooper.
