There was one constant in the topscoring KFC SuperCoach NRL teams last week; and it was those that trusted in a certain superstar Rooster who went on to claim the prizes supplied by our very own Colonel of fried chicken.
CONGRATS TO THE ROUND FIVE CHAMPION
With James Tedesco breaking the KFC SuperCoach NRL record it’s no shock to see the best score of the round captain Teddy. But it took much more than that for coach Nigel to top the round, his team ‘Weedys Warriors’ included centurions Cameron McInnes and Cameron Smith and other big scores from Payne Haas, Alex Twal, Jason Taumalolo and Ryan Matterson. All up Nigel scored 1,550 in round five and is a deserved winner of the weekly prize of $1,000.

BIG SCORES REQUIRED TO NAB A KFC VOUCHER THIS ROUND
Every single coach in the top-11 cracked the 1,500 point mark in round five and it’s a safe bet they all were cheering on James Tedesco on Monday night. Well played to the top-11 scorers for the round who on top of the bragging rights – and cash prizes that the top three teams collected – will also be receiving a KFC voucher for a free feed.
IT’S TIGHT AT THE TOP
Coach James and his team ‘Billy No Mates’ are just 22 points clear of second place after round five with less than 100 point separating first from tenth. As we saw last week it takes just one good captaincy pick to rocket up the ladder so keep trading and keep trying because even those outside the top 10,000 can still make a run for the cash.
