FULL-TIME: SEA EAGLES 44 DEFEAT KNIGHTS 6

SuperCoach winners:

* Tom Trbojevic (129) - Made it look easy on his return to fullback with a try, two try assists and four try contributions. He’ll be the most purchased player of the upcoming round.

* Lehi Hopoate (119) - Gave up the fullback spot to Turbo but got served up two tries on a platter by the Manly superstar while playing on the wing. Plus a brilliant try assist of his own (video below).

* Jason Saab (112) - When Turbo’s on fire, the Manly wingers go well.

* Reuben Garrick (99) - Very strong score as the most popular SuperCoach captain of the week. Gave up the kicking duties at stages to Jamie Humphreys, which could be a SuperCoach issue going forward.

* Jamie Humphreys (95) - Simply stunning on debut in place of DCE. Comes from some good stock.

* Haumole Olakau’atu (70) - It was looking dicey for the most purchased SuperCoach player of the week. But he saved his score with a late try and linebreak.

* Fletcher Sharpe (46) - Dire early for the popular cheapie, but he produced some late attacking stats for a decent score and final price rise before Kalyn Ponga comes back from Origin.

SuperCoach losers:

* Greg Marzhew (23) - Popular buy picked up an early cork and could barely run for most of the match.

63 MINS: TURBO CRACKS THE TON

Tommy Turbo will be the most popular buy of the upcoming SuperCoach round.

Fact.

He’s cracked the ton here and will beat his massive BE of 120.

The Knights have been bad but Turbo has been better, and he’s taken the entire Sea Eagles’ side to a new level.

With the Sea Eagles about to surge into seventh position, we could be in for a Jarryd Hayne-like late season run.

Hammies permitting.

58 MINS: GARRICK SET FOR MONSTER SCORE

Reuben Garrick is the most popular captain of the week and plenty of SuperCoaches are happy.

Garrick is now up to 96 points after adding a try to his tally.

49 MINS: KNIGHTS FORWARD OUT FOR GAME

Brodie Jones has been ruled out for the Knights due to concussion.

It’s another a big blow for the wounded Knights given Greg Marzhew is struggling to run due to an earlier cork.

HALF-TIME: SEA EAGLES 20 LEAD KNIGHTS 0

SuperCoach winners:

* Jason Saab (81) - Loving having Turbo back in the side with a try, try assist (dubious pass and all!) and three linebreaks.

* Reuben Garrick (67) - The most popular captain of the week is firing. Try, try contribution and two goals.

* Tom Trbojevic (58) - Just loves 4 Pines Park. Back at fullback and making a huge difference for the Sea Eagles as they gun for a top eight spot.

SuperCoach losers:

* Haumole Olakau’atu (18) - Worrying. The most popular SuperCoach buy of the week has missed all the big attacking stats and hasn’t produced his usual work rate.

* Fletcher Sharpe (13) - Popular cheapie barely got his hands on the ball as the Sea Eagles dominated.

* Greg Marzhew (11) - Popular buy picked up an early cork and is clearly struggling.

36 MINS: HOPOATE’S STUNNING TRY ASSIST

Lehi Hopoate just pulled off one of the assists of the season.

All while carrying a dislocated finger.

We could describe it but let’s let the video (below) do it justice.

33 MINS: MARZHEW HAMPERED AFTER KNOCK

Two key injuries here.

Jake Simpkin has a sternum issue but the Sea Eagles say he has been strapped up and will return.

Greg Marzhew copped a cork in a huge hit from Nathan Brown but remains on the field, albeit hampered.

16 MINS: TURBO STUNS EARLY AT FULLBACK

Tom Trbojevic’s move to fullback has paid immediate dividends with a try and try contribution early.

Turbo rose for a bomb Luke Brooks bomb and slotted it down.

He earlier had a hand in a try to debutant Jamie Humphreys.

5 MINS: HUMPHREYS CROSSES ON DEBET

Could a player hope for a better start to an NRL career? Probably not.

Jamie Humphreys, playing halfback for the Sea Eagles in place of Daly Cherry-Evans (Origin), crossed after just five minutes.

Humphreys is the son of former CEO Stephen.

LATE MAIL: Turbo switch locked as two Sea Eagles debut

Final teams are in and thankfully there’s not too much to talk about with just one change to the 17 at the Sea Eagles.

Corey Waddell drops off the Manly bench and is replaced by Caleb Navale.

Jamie Humphreys and Clayton Faulalo make their NRL debuts.

The Knights are 1-17.

Will Turbo be reawakened in fullback for Manly?

Round 19 comes to an exciting end with the Manly Sea Eagles taking on the Newcastle Knights at 4 Pines Park.

It’s a crucial fixture for both sides who sit just outside the top eight.

Lots of squad rotation in this one, with Daly Cherry-Evans, Jake Trbojevic, Bradman Best, Dane Gagai and Kalyn Ponga away on Origin duties.

The home fans will be eagerly anticipating the return of Tom Trbojevic to his favoured fullback role, given the injury to Tolutau Koula.

Trbojevic was quiet in his return last week against the Cowboys in the centres, amassing just 45 SuperCoach points, but perhaps some afternoon sun in Brookvale will reawaken the beast.

Reuben Garrick is the most-owned player in this fixture at 23.9%, no doubt holding the captain’s armband for a lot of players as well.

For Newcastle, Kai Pearce-Paul and Greg Marzhew are the most popular players in action for SuperCoaches, needing some big performances to get a result away from home.

Young gun Fletcher Sharpe gets another run in the No.1 jersey in the absence of Ponga, with 13.9% of players happy to see this.
