SLOAN DUMPED BY DRAGONS
A relapse of defensive deficiencies has led to Shane Flanagan axing fullback Tyrell Sloan ahead of a crucial game against Penrith on Sunday.
Flanagan dropped Sloan to NSW Cup on Saturday after the 22-year-old fullback struggled off the ball during St George Illawarra’s last-start win against the Broncos.
SHARKS LATE BLOOMER SET FOR DEBUT

Jayden Berrell is expected to make his long awaited debut for the Sharks as he inches towards his 30th birthday.
The Sharks hooker is expected to come into the 17 to take on the Cowboys on Saturday off the interchange bench.
Berrell will be the second Sharks player to debut on Saturday night, joining young gun Liam Ison who is filling in for a suspended Will Kennedey at fullback.
