NRL Early Mail Round 19: All the latest news ahead of Tuesday’s team announcements

SHAUN Kenny-Dowall could make his club debut for the Newcastle Knights as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

WARRIORS V PANTHERS

Friday 14 July, 6pm at Mt Smart Stadium

Warriors: Solomone Kata (bereavement leave) returns, with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to make way in the backline. Isaac Luke (shoulder) is a chance of returning, which would see Nathaniel Roache move to the bench and Ata Hingano drop out.

Panthers: James Fisher-Harris (hamstring) returned through NSW Cup on the weekend and may come into contention for a spot on the bench or in the reserves. Peter Wallace (groin) is expected to sit out another week.

RAIDERS V DRAGONS

Friday 14 July, 7.50pm at GIO Stadium

Raiders: Josh Hodgson (calf) is expected to be named, with Kurt Baptiste dropping back to the bench. Jarrod Croker (concussion/knee) is right to go after resting up over the bye. Josh Papalii will be named to back up.

Dragons: Josh Dugan and Tyson Frizell back up. Paul Vaughan (calf) is a chance to return, but may be saved for next week.

KNIGHTS V BRONCOS

Saturday 15 July, 5.30pm at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights: Dane Gagai is the only player backing up from Origin. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (hamstring) is a chance of making his club debut, with Joe Wardle the man likely to make way. Sione Mata’utia has been cleared of a fractured finger.

Broncos: Ben Hunt, Josh McGuire and Matt Gillett back up from Origin. David Mead (knee, round 22) and Herman Ese’ese (knee, round 21) are out injured. Anthony Milford (shoulder) is edging closer to a return — don’t be surprised to see him somewhere on the team sheet.

TITANS V SHARKS

Saturday 15 July, 7.30pm at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans: Jarryd Hayne, Nathan Peats and Jarrod Wallace are backing up from Origin. Tyrone Roberts (ankle), Chris McQueen (neck) and Kane Elgey (sternum) are all expected to be named.

Sharks: Valentine Holmes, James Maloney, Andrew Fifita, Wade Graham and Jack Bird are backing up from Origin, but coach Shane Flanagan has hinted he may give some rep stars a rest. James Segeyaro (broken arm) is a strong chance to return.

SEA EAGLES V TIGERS

Sunday 16 July, 2pm at Brookvale Oval

Sea Eagles: Jake Trbojevic will be named to back up.

Tigers: James Tedesco and Aaron Woods are backing up. Experienced forwards Chris Lawrence and Tim Grant expected are expected to return from hamstring injuries.

RABBITOHS V COWBOYS

Sunday 16 July, 4pm at Barlow Park

Rabbitohs: No changes.

Cowboys: Gavin Cooper, Coen Hess and Michael Morgan back up from Origin. No other concerns.

BYE: Bulldogs, Storm, Eels, Roosters
