NRL casualty ward round 15: South Sydney Rabbitohs rocked by injuries and suspension

THE Rabbitohs are set to be without three key players for next week’s clash against the Panthers due to injury and suspension.

Backrower Kyle Turner (hamstring) and boom rookie Siosifa Talaki (ankle) succumbed to injury in Friday’s 30-12 loss to the Eels.

Both are at long odds to play next week.

Likewise, Paul Carter is set to miss Friday’s clash after being hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge.

He will miss a week, regardless of plea, unless he successfully fights the charge at the judiciary.

However, the Rabbitohs will have Greg Inglis and Adam Reynolds back on deck following Origin duty.

In other injury news this week:

* Cameron Munster (ankle), Blake Green (calf) and Tim Glasby (shoulder) were ruled out pre-game by the Storm;

* Josh Morris (groin) was ruled out of Origin II;

* John Sutton had his nose busted wide open by a swinging arm from Vai Toutai, but returned;

* Kaysa Pritchard (shoulder/neck) will go for scans;

* Thomas Leuluai (concussion) didn’t return for the Warriors.
