KFC SuperCoach NRL teams analysis Round 5

Cheapies are the most important key to success in KFC SuperCoach and ahead of Round Five there are two players that everyone should have in their teams.

Round 5's Winners and Losers | KFC SuperCoach NRL

Cheapies are the single most important key to SuperCoach success, and ahead of Round 5 there are two absolute must have cheapies in Bradman Best and Harry Grant.

Not only do they stand to make a tonne of cash but both have proved in the last two weeks that they are genuine Top 17 starting options for your team each week, with incredible base stats and attacking upside.

Bradman Best... more like Bradman BEAST! The Knights young gun was an absolute monster against the Raiders and has cracked 100 points in both of his last two games.

Not only has he been scoring and setting up tries but he has had more than 40 points of base in both those games and is starting to work up a solid combination with Kalyn Ponga.

The other absolute must have is Harry Grant who looks set to play 80 minutes in Round 5 after Billy Walters dropped to the reserves. With an average PPM of 1.28 in his previous two games we could see a big increase in points and Grant is not just a cheapie but a genuine starting option.

WINNERS

Bradman Best - Smashed his incredible 100 in Round 3 with a 123 point effort against a harder matchup of the Canberra Raiders. The beast is a must have for KFC SuperCoaches especially as he works on that left edge-combination with Kalyn Ponga.

Kalyn Ponga - Sticking with Newcastle Guns, and Ponga had an absolute monster game scoring a lazy 159 points which could have been even better had he not left the field with a HIA. He does have the Storm in Round 5 so if he can score well against them I think we can truly declare Ponga as match-up proof.

Harry Grant - Next up on the must haves list is Harry Grant who scored 72 points without a try in round 4 and actually saw a slight bump in his minutes.

James Tedesco - Was named to play in round 5 after missing last week under the NRL’s biosecurity rules. The Roosters are on fire at the moment and have a juicy matchup with the Bulldogs this week who gave up 152 points to Tommy Tubro in round 3.

Nathan Cleary - Cleary is back from his 2 game suspension and he is now a POD at just 8.6% ownership. If you have the trades he could be a player to bring in, but the Panthers do have some tough match-ups coming up against the Eels and Storm.

Cody Walker- Like Clearly, Cody Walker is also back from suspension and he has the Gold Coast Titans this week and the Warriors in Round 7. The Bunnies have really missed him and need him to stand up and spark their attack, and did I mention he is at just 2.4% ownership?

Kurt Capewell- Played the entire game in the backrow, scoring 58 points in pure base against the Warriors. He and Isaah Yeo look to have locked down their spots in the backrow and both have the CTW dual eligibility.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow - It’s Hammer Time! The Cowboys have named the most exciting youngster in rugby league to make his NRL debut against the Warriors and after impressing in the Nines, expect big things from him.

Reece Robson - Has won the starting hooking role at the Cowboys and has been impressive with some explosive speed out of dummy half. Could be a player to keep an eye on.

LOSERS

Thomas Flegler and Jamil Hopoate - The Broncos cheapies have been benched and dropped respectively after a reshuffle with the team desperate to turn their recent form around.

Billy Walters - Walters has lost his starting spot to Harry Grant and was not named to play this week. He has made some decent cash but it’s time for him to go.

Blayke Brailey - Brailey saw his minutes drop last week and is no longer locked in for 80 minutes a game and really needs the big game time for decent points.

Will Kennedy - Has lost the starting fullback spot at the Sharks with Matt Moylan returning to the No.1 jersey, and Chad Townsend returning to the halves.

Matt Burton - The return of Cleary means he has lost his spot at the team and has been benched. With a break-even of -71 he is worth keeping an eye on, but bench backs aren’t usually SuperCoach relevant.

Anthony Milford - The milf is in horrible form at the moment with scores of 16 and 14 in his last two games and simply has to go if you own him.

Jason Taumalolo - Was only named in the reserves for Round 5 due to the bone bruising that ruled him out last week. He is still a chance to play this week but don’t count on him if you have others you can play.

Brayden Williame- Has not been named after picking up an injury against the Bulldogs and is another player you need to move on.

Ben Hampton - Likewise Ben Hampton was also not named for the Cowboys and was a popular cheapie option, but has been dropped.

SEA EAGLES VS BRONCOS

Thursday, June 11th, 7:50pm, Central Coast Stadium

Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jorge Taufua 3. Brad Parker 4. Moses Suli 5. Reuben Garrick 6. Dylan Walker 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Danny Levi 10. Martin Taupau 11. Joel Thompson 12. Curtis Sironen 13. Jake Trbojevic

Interchange: 14. Lachlan Croker 15. Corey Waddell, 16. Sean Keppie, 17. Taniela Paseka

Reserves: 18. Morgan Boyle, 19. Jack Gosiewski, 20. Tevita Funa 21. Brendan Elliot

Team news: No changes for Manly which is great news ahead of a juicy match-up against the Broncos, who gave up more than 100 SuperCoach points to six players against the Roosters.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: No changes to Manly is good news for SuperCoaches, with pretty much any starting Manly player you own a near must start against the Broncos. Tom Trbojevic especially looks set for a huge outing, after the Brett Morris starred in the Roosters demolition of the Broncos in Round 4.

Broncos: 1. Jamayne Isaako, 2. Xavier Coates, 3. Kotoni Staggs, 4. Darius Boyd, 5. Herbie Farnworth, 6. Anthony Milford, 7. Brodie Croft (c), 8. Matthew Lodge, 9. Cory Paix, 10. Payne Haas, 11. Corey Oates, 12. Joe Ofahengaue, 13. Pat Carrigan (c)

Interchange: 14. Tesi Niu, 15. Ben Te’o, 16. Rhys Kennedy, 17. Thomas Flegler

Reserves: 18. Jamil Hopoate, 19. Richard Kennar, 20. Tom Dearden, 21. Ethan Bullemor

Team news: The Broncos have a host of changes, with Corey Oates moving to the backrow with Xavier Coates replacing him on the wing, Kotoni Staggs returns from suspension, Matt Lodge and Joe Ofahengaue start, and Ben Te’o joins the bench.

SuperCoach cheapie Jamil Hopoate has been dropped and Tom Flegler has been benched and both need to go.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: Absolute carnage at the Broncos in terms of SuperCoach, with the Broncos scoring just one try in their last two games. Needless to say this is not good for their SuperCoach output, with just 3 players scoring about 50 against the Roosters (Payne Haas 81, Patrick Carriagn 63 and Ethan Bullemor 52). KFC SuperCoaches will really need to think hard about whether they start any Broncos players other than Haas and Carrigan, given just how poorly some of them have been playing. Kotoni Staggs returns from suspension this week and alongside Jamayne Isaako are probably the only players worthy of taking a risk with starting against Manly.

WARRIORS VS COWBOYS

Friday, June 12th, 6:00pm, Central Coast Stadium

Warriors: 1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (c), 2. Patrick Herbert, 3. Hayze Perham, 4. Gerard Beale, 5. Adam Pompey, 6. Kodi Nikorima, 7. Blake Green, 8. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown, 9. Wayde Egan, 10. Lachlan Burr, 11. Elisea Katoa, 12. Tohu Harris, 13. Adam Blair

Interchange: 14. Karl Lawton, 15. Poasa Faamausili, 16. King Vuniyayawa, 17. Jack Murchie

Reserves: 18. Agnatius Paasi, 20. Peta Hiku, 21. Isaiah Papali’i, 22. Channel Harris-Tevita

Team news: Just one change for the Warriors with Lachlan Burr returning from HIA to replace Isaiah Papali’i in the starting side.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: While the Dragons made the Warriors look good in Round Three it was another story against the Panthers as they went down comfortably 26-0. While they struggled to score points there are still some genuine startable players, including cheapies Jamayne Taunoa-Brown and Eliesa Katoa. Luckily for the Warriors, the Cowboys looks like a better matchup given their defence has been a bit shaky in 2020. Roger Tuivasa-Scheck has scored above 50 just once this season and this could potentially be a breakout game for the Warriors captain.

Cowboys: 1. Valentine Holmes, 2. Kyle Feldt, 3. Justin O’Neill, 4. Esan Marsters, 5. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, 6. Scott Drinkwater, 7. Jake Clifford, 8. Francis Molo, 9. Reece Robson, 10. Jordan McLean (C), 11. Mitch Dunn, 12. Coen Hess, 13. Josh McGuire

Interchange: 14. Reuben Cotter, 15. Tom Gilbert, 16. Shane Wright, 17. Gavin Cooper

Reserves: 18. Corey Jensen, 19. Peter Hola, 20. Jason Taumalolo, 21. Tom Opacic

Team news: The Cowboys on the other hand have a number of changes, with Ben Hampton, Jake Granville and John Asiata all out. The NRL’s most exciting youngster Hamiso Tabaui-Fidow is set for his NRL debut, while Reece Robson takes over at hooker and Reuben Cotter joins the bench. Coen Hess has been named to return from an ankle injury, but Jason Taumalolo is named among the reserves so is only an outside chance to play.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: After a disappointing loss to the Sharks, the Cowboys have made a number of changes to their side, with a potential cheapie to keep an eye on in the coming weeks in the Hammer Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow. The Warriors were solid in their defence before last week, but the Panthers did expose some holes and players like Valentine Holmes and Scott Drinkwater could be in for big scores. The Cowboys will likely still be without Jason Taumalolo given he was only named on the bench, but since the game is on a Friday SuperCoaches will likely have a good idea early on in the week.

EELS VS PANTHERS

Friday, June 12th, 7:55pm, Bankwest Stadium

Eels: 1. Clint Gutherson, 2. Maika Sivo, 3. Michael Jennings, 4. Waqa Blake, 5. Blake Ferguson, 6. Dylan Brown, 7. Mitchell Moses, 8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard, 9. Reed Mahoney, 10. Junior Paulo, 11. Shaun Lane, 12. Ryan Matterson, 13. Nathan Brown

Interchange: 14. Ray Stone, 15. Marata Niukore, 16. Kane Evans 17. Peni Terepo

Reserves: 18. Brad Takairangi, 19. Oregon Kaufusi, 20. George Jennings, 21. Will Smith

Team news: Nathan Brown also returns from suspension forcing Marata Niukore back to the bench, while Ray Stone has also been called up from the reserves.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The undefeated Eels have been a bit of a goldmine for KFC SuperCoach in 2020, with seven players averaging over 60 points across the first four weeks of the competition. Ryan Matterson has been an absolute machine, while Mitch Moses has had some ups and downs. The forward pack has been pretty dominant even without Nathan Brown, so it will be interesting to see how the minutes will be shared around when he returns given Matterson and Shaun Lane have played 80 minutes in all games this season.

Panthers: 1. Caleb Aetkins, 2. Josh Mansour, 3. Dean Whare, 4. Stephen Crichton, 5. Brian To’o, 6. Jarome Luai, 7. Nathan Cleary, 8. James Tamou, 9. Apisai Koroisau, 10. James Fisher-Harris, 11. Viliame Kikau, 12. Kurtis Capewell, 13. Isaah Yeo

Interchange: 14. Matt Burton, 15. Zane Tetevano, 16. Moses Leota, 17. Liam Martin

Reserves: 18. Mitch Kenny, 19. Billy Burns, 20. Jack Hetherington, 21. Dylan Edwards

Team news: Nathan Cleary’s return from suspension forces Matt Burton to the bench and Mitch Kenny out of the team.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: KFC SuperCoach gun Nathan Cleary is back from suspension and he surprisingly now finds himself as POD at just 8.6% ownership despite being one of the best at his position. The Eels are a tough match up, but Cleary averaged 86.5 in the first two rounds of the season and will be a player to keep an eye on and consider trading in. The Panthers have a number of other POD players worth picking up including Josh Mansour, Kurt Capewell and James Fisher-Harris who have all been on fire recently averaging 76.3, 75.5 and 66.3 respectively. Matt Burton is a player to avoid despite his enticing break-even of -71 as he has been relegated to the bench and is unlikely to register a big score.

RABBITOHS VS TITANS

Saturday, June 13th, 3:00pm, Bankwest Stadium

Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell, 2. Dane Gagai, 3. Campbell Graham, 4. James Roberts, 5. Alex Johnston, 6. Cody Walker, 7. Adam Reynolds, 8. Tevita Tatola, 9. Damien Cook, 10. Thomas Burgess, 11. Jaydn Su’A, 12. Ethan Lowe, 13. Cameron Murray

Interchange: 14. Liam Knight, 15. Patrick Mago, 16. Tom Amone, 17. Bayley Sironen

Reserves: 18. Mark Nicholls, 19. Bryson Goodwin, 20. Braidon Burns, 21. Keaon Koloamatangi

Team news: Souths however have made some changes to try and get their attack clicking, with James Roberts and Cody Walker set to make their return, with Braidon Burns and Troy Dargan out of the starting side. Patrick Mago and Bayley Sironen have also been recalled to the interchange bench, with Mark Nicholls and Keaon Koloamatangi dropping out.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The Bunnies attack has been struggling since the competition resumed, but in their defence they have had some very difficult match-ups against the Roosters and Storm. This week however the Titans matchup looks very enticing given their propensity to give up lots of points. PODs Cody Walker and James Roberts return to the side and are a real chance to be the spark the Rabbitohs need and could be in for a big game. Latrell Mitchell enjoyed his best game of the season against the Storm and has also fallen into low ownership, and while he still doesn't warrant a pick-up he is definitely one to keep an eye on. Cameron Murray and Damien Cook also looked much better against the Storm after Murray’s move back to lock. Given the low ownership of Rabbitohs players there is some real opportunity here for savvy SuperCoaches.

Titans: 1. Phillip Sami, 2. Anthony Don, 3. Dale Copley, 4. Young Tonumaipea, 5. Brian Kelly, 6. Ashley Taylor, 7. Jamal Fogarty, 8. Moeaki Fotuaika, 9. Erin Clark, 10. Sam Lisone, 11. Kevin Proctor, 12. Bryce Cartwright, 13. Jai Arrow

Interchange: 14. Tanah Boyd, 15. Keegan Hipgrave, 16. Jaimin Jolliffe, 17. Tyrone Peachey

Reserves: 18. Jarrod Wallace, 19. Jai Whitbread, 20. Beau Fermor, 21. Tyrone Roberts

Team news: After winning their first game of the season the Titans seem to have some stability in their team with no changes. Tyrone Roberts has been named on the reserves and is a chance to take over at fullback if fit.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The Titans may have a victory under their belt for 2020 but the club still remains something of a graveyard for SuperCoach relevance with Jai Arrow their most popular player at 13.9% ownership. But there are still some players who should be on everyone’s KFC SuperCoach radars, the biggest being FRF Moeaki Fotuaika with scores of 87 and 67 in his last two games.

STORM VS KNIGHTS

Saturday, June 13th, 5:30pm, AAMI Park

Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen, 2. Suliasi Vunivalu, 3. Justin Olam, 4. Brenko Lee, 5. Josh Addo-Carr, 6. Cameron Munster, 7. Ryley Jacks, 8. Jesse Bromwich, 9. Cameron Smith, 10. Christian Welch, 11. Felise Kaufusi, 12. Kenny Bromwich, 13. Dale Finucane

Interchange: 14. Brandon Smith, 15. Tino Faasuamaleaui, 16. Max King, 17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona

Reserves: 18. Tom Eisenhuth, 19. Marion Seve, 20. Cooper Johns, 21. Nicho Hynes

Team news: No Jahrome Hughes but no Cam Smith at halfback either with Ryley Jacks winning the start in the seven jersey. Big Nelson Asofa-Solomona comes on to the interchange bench after recovering from a hamstring twinge.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: Ryan Papenhuyzen is a popular trade out target for SuperCoaches but he is a player to hold onto for at least a few more weeks, given just how close he has been to a huge score. His base has been solid and he did score a try in Round 4 and was within inches of a double. Cameron Smith and Cameron Munster are the only other relevant options right now both of whom are at POD ownership and have been in solid form. It’s all about Api Koroisau, Damien Cook and Harry Grant at hooker, but if you want to stand out from the crowd take a look at Cameron Smith.

Knights: 1. Kalyn Ponga, 2. Edrick Lee, 3. Enari Tuala, 4. Bradman Best, 5. Hymel Hunt, 6. Kurt Mann, 7. Mitchell Pearce, 8. David Klemmer, 9. Andrew McCullough, 10. Daniel Saifiti, 11. Aidan Guerra, 12. Sione Mata’utia, 13. Herman Ese’ese

Interchange: 14. Tex Hoy, 15. Jacob Saifiti, 16. Tim Glasby, 17. Brodie Jones

Reserves: 18. Tautau Moga, 19. Phoenix Crossland, 20. Josh King, 21. Lachlan Fitzgibbon

Team news: Kurt Mann the iron man has shaken off a nasty looking ankle injury suffered late in round 4 to be named at five-eighth for the Knights. Phoenix Crossland is in the reserves should Mann not be ready to go and Lachlan Fitzgibbon is some chance of returning form injury also named to the reserves.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: BRADMAN BEST! If you don't have him already get him into your side this week as he is a must have cheapie at CTW. Currently priced at just $240,700, he is set to skyrocket in price after this week with scores of 100 and 123 in his last two games. Kalyn Ponga is another great option at the stacked fullback position but the Storm matchup is a bit risky. Kurt Mann is a popular cheapie at CTW but there is a chance he misses out this week despite being named to start. David Klemmer is averaging 73 points this season mostly in base, but he does seem to have developed an offload in the last two weeks and is worth taking a look at as a gun FRF.

RAIDERS VS TIGERS

Saturday, June 13th, 7:35pm, Campbelltown Stadium

Raiders: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, 2. Bailey Simonsson, 3. Jarrod Croker, 4. Curtis Scott, 5. Nick Cotric, 6. Jack Wighton, 7. George Williams, 8. Josh Papalii, 9. Josh Hodgson, 10. Dunamis Lui, 11. Corey Horsburgh, 12. Joe Tapine, 13. Corey Horsburgh

Interchange: 14. Siliva Havili, 15. Emre Guler, 16. Iosia Soliola 17. Jordan Rapana

Reserves: 18. Tom Starling, 19. Matt Frawley, 20. Ryan Sutton, 21. Michael Oldfield

Team news: No changes for the Raiders.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The Raiders have been hard to get a solid read on in 2020 since they’ve been winning games but haven’t been delivering great KFC SuperCoach scores out despite some players with decent ownership like Jarrod Croker and Jack Wighton. George Williams has been a solid mid-range purchase for those who started with him, but he has not locked himself in as a must-start option every week. But that could all change this week since the Tigers currently have the third worst defence in the competition and the Raiders will want to bounce back after a big loss to the Knights. Josh Papalii had his first monster game of 2020 after scoring a try and seeing a bump in his minutes to 59 and could be a player to watch.

Tigers: 1. Adam Doueihi, 2. David Nofoaluma, 3. Joseph Leilua, 4. Moses Mbye, 5. Tommy Talau, 6. Josh Reynolds, 7. Luke Brooks, 8. Josh Aloiai, 9. Harry Grant, 10. Zane Musgorve, 11. Luciano Leilua, 12. Luke Garner, 13. Alex Twal

Interchange: 14 Thomas Mikaele, 15. Russell Packer, 16. Michael Chee Kam, 17. Alex Sayfarth

Reserves: 18. Benji Marshall, 19. Luke Garner, 20. Billy Walters, 21. Corey Thompson

Team news: Benji Marshall axed – Madge Maguire may want to leak less points but he’s surely going to score less too without Benji weaving his magic! Well editorialising aside, Marshall is in the reserves and Josh Reynolds will partner Luke Brooks in the halves. SC star Harry Grant looks set for 80 minutes with Billy Walters dropped to the reserves as Maguire beefs-up his bench big time. Zane Musgrove comes in to start pushing Thomas Mikaele to the bench. Russell Packer wins his first start of the season from the bench. Chris Lawrence moves from bench to starting on an edge with Luke Garner in the reserves. Michael Chee-Kam gets his first game since the shutdown from the bench and Tommy Talau replaces Rob Jennings on the wing.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The Tigers have made a number of changes to their side with some big ramifications for SuperCoach, especially in the forwards. Harry Grant looks set to play 80 minutes with Michael McGuire naming four forwards on the bench, and is an absolute must have. Billy Walters is the most popular Tigers player in SuperCoach at 37% ownership and given he isn’t starting he needs to be moved on. Anyone who owns a forward at the Tigers should be nervous this week, as there could be less minutes to go around. Luciano Leilua and Alex Twal are the most popular Tigers forwards so owners may need to manage their expectations.

BULLDOGS VS ROOSTERS

Sunday, June 14th, 4:05pm, Bankwest Stadium

Bulldogs: 1. Will Hopoate, 2. Nick Meaney, 3. Reimis Smith, 4. Jake Averillo, 5. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, 6. Kieran Foran, 7. Lachlan Lewis, 8. Aiden Tolman, 9. Jeremy Marshall-King, 10. Dylan Napa, 11. Josh Jackson, 12. Raymond Faitala-Mariner, 13. Adam Elliott

Interchange: 14. Christian Crichton, 15. Renouf To’omaga, 16. Dean Britt, 17. Sauaso Sue

Reserves: 19. Ofahiki Ogden, 20. Brandon Wakeham, 21. Morgan Harper, 22. Jack Cogger

Team news: The Bulldogs are riding high after a win for once and only one change from them with Christian Crichton on to the bench at the expense of Kerrod Holland.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: Like the Titans the Bulldogs have been something of a SuperCoach graveyard in 2020 but there are still some opportunities, especially after some recent positional changes. Will Hopoate had his best game of 2020 against the Dragons and looks to be one of the biggest winners after moving to fullback, a position he has historically scored pretty well at. Aiden Tolman is an extreme POD at just 1% ownership, but is a genuine option given his average of 64.3.

Roosters: 1. James Tedesco, 2. Daniel Tupou, 3. Josh Morris, 4. Joseph Manu, 5. Brett Morris, 6. Luke Keary, 7. Kyle Flanagan, 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, 9. Jake Friend, 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho, 11. Boyd Cordner, 12. Angus Crichton, 13. Victor Radley

Interchange: 14. Sam Verrills, 15. Isaac Liu, 16. Nat Butcher, 17. Lindsay Collins

Reserves: 18. Sitili Tupouniua, 19. Mitchell Aubusson, 20. Ryan Hall, 21. Lachlan Lam

Team news: Star fullback James Tedesco returns for the Roosters which sees Brett Morris slide back to the wing at the expense of Ryan Hall (reserves). Mitch Aubusson is back – but not quite – named in the reserves which is a big KFC SuperCoach NRL win for Angus Crichton.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: Fresh off their demolition of the Broncos, the Roosters find themselves with another enticing matchup against the Bulldogs, who despite having a solid defence in real life NRL, did give up a lot of SuperCoach points to Manly in Round 3. Quite simply if you have any Sydney Roosters in your side they are probably a must-start here. James Tedesco looks set for a massive score given Tom Trbojevic racked up 152 points against them.

SHARKS VS DRAGONS

Sunday, June 14th, 6:30pm, Campbelltown Stadium

Sharks: 1. Matt Moylan, 2. Sione Katoa, 3. Josh Dugan, 4. Jesse Ramien, 5. Mawene Hiroti, 6. Shaun Johnson, 7. Chad Townsend, 8. Andrew Fifita, 9. Blayke Brailey, 10. Aaron Woods, 11. Briton Nikora, 12. Wade Graham, 13. Jack Williams

Interchange: 14. Connor Tracey, 15. Braden Hamlin-Uele, 16. Toby Rudolf, 17. Scott Sorensen

Reserves: 18. Siosifa Talaki, 19. William Kennedy, 20. Royce Hunt, 21. Jackson Ferris

Team news: Some quality cattle back for the Sharks with Andrew Fifita named to start relegating Toby Rudolf to the bench and Chad Townsend returning too. Townsend resumes his role at halfback which sees Matt Moylan revert to fullback and William Kennedy relegates to the reserves. Ronaldo Mulitalo (injured) is out and will be replaced on the wing by Mawene Hiroti. Blayke Brailey’s minutes will once again be impacted by Connor Tracey and the young rake is an easy sell to Harry Grant.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: The Sharks three most popular players have all taken a hit this week, with Blayke Brailey losing minutes, Toby Rudolf being benched and William Kennedy dropped with the return of Matt Moylan. Owners of Brailey and Kennedy need to start looking at trading these guys out, but Rudolf is still worth holding onto for at least a few more weeks. Shaun Johnson has slipped into POD ownership after his slow start to the season, but this matchup against the Dragons could be just what he needs to get things going. Jesse Ramien had his best game of the season against the Cowboys last week with a score of 99 and is another player to take a look at.

Dragons: 1. Corey Norman, 2. Jordan Pereira, 3. Euan Aitken, 4. Zac Lomax, 5. Mikaele Ravalawa, 6. Ben Hunt, 7. Adam Clune 8. Josh Kerr, 9. Cameron McInnes, 10. Paul Vaughan, 11. Tyson Frizell, 12. Tyrell Fuimaono, 13. James Graham

Interchange: 14. Trent Merrin, 15. Blake Lawrie, 16. Issac Luke, 17. Matthew Dufty

Reserves: 18. Jacob Host, 19. Jackson Ford, 20. Jason Saab, 21. Korbin Sims

Team news: Tariq Sims is out of the Dragons in a surprise move which sees Tyrell Fuimaono called back into the squad and handed a start in the number 12 jersey. Brayden Wiliame is out after failing to finish last week’s game due to a calf injury with his spot in the centres taken up by Euan Aitken and Matt Dufty promoted to the interchange bench in place of Aitken.

KFC SuperCoach Analysis: Despite their on field woes the Dragons actually have a few SuperCoach relevant options who are worthy of a start, most notably being Tyrell Fuimaono who is recalled to the starting side where he scored 75 points in Round 2. He also has the dual CTW eligibility and is worth picking up now that he is starting again. Zac Lomax is highly owned and is a startable option, but it is risky given he hasn’t been kicking many goals with the Dragons not scoring any tries in the last two games.
