The winner of the $1,000 cash prize for the highest score in round eight of KFC SuperCoach NRL ‘Parradise’ is a very happy Parramatta fan who can thank a couple of huge scores from Eels fullback Clint Gutherson (captain) and winger Maika Sivo for providing more than 30% of his total score.
We take a look at the scores that won the cash, the bonus prizes from The Colonel and how things sit at the pointy end of the overall scoreboard after round eight here:
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WEEKLY WINNER
THIS WEEK’S LUCKY ELEVEN WINNERS
Anything over 1,200 points was an impressive feat in round eight of KFC SuperCoach NRL, but it took plenty more points to grab a free feed from The Colonel – and some cash – with 1,486 points the cut-off to grab the goodies this week.
Aside from a quality feed and the money, the big weekly scores were very beneficial for rankings with third placed ‘Kegstars’ (24,600 places), eighth placed ‘Muddy Waters Murris’ (23,194 places) and 11th placed ‘Test Eagle’s’ (22,819 places) the three biggest overall movers for the round.
NUMBER ONE EXTENDS HIS LEAD AFTER A BIG ROUND
It’s settled at the very top of the leaderboard with the top-three teams ‘Big Dave’, ‘Payne In The Haas’ and ‘The GOAT’ all holding their spots on the podium.
‘Dobbalinas’ by Ian was the biggest mover inside the top-10 climbing five places to sit fourth after eight rounds.
One last comment on the top-10, the leader is proof that while building a bank is good, points win you the cash from The Colonel. ‘Big Dave’ has the lowest team value of any team in the top five and yet sits 150 points clear of second place.
