Penrith Panthers living legend and premiership-winning captain Greg ‘Brandy’ Alexander is gearing up to help launch KFC SuperCoach NRL with eager footy fans.
Alexander and SEN co-host Andrew Voss — in partnership with News Corp — are offering fans the chance to join them for breakfast on Tuesday March 1 on board “The Super Coach”, a luxury 48-seat bus that will deliver a rugby league experience like no other.
The Super Coach will stop at rugby league hotspots, picking up greats of the game along the way, and delivering the busload of legends and fans to the picturesque Birchgrove Oval in Balmain, the spiritual birthplace of modern rugby league, to kick off Australia’s best fantasy sport game, KFC SuperCoach NRL.
Ten lucky winners will score a double pass to the exclusive two-hour tour which will depart from Sydney’s west. Each winner will also receive a $500 footy prize pack.
Broadcast live into the SEN breakfast program, on board will be a raft of league greats, including KFC SuperCoach NRL ambassador Corey Parker, Eels legend Tim Mannah, Manly’s Steve Menzies and more.
“Just like footy, SuperCoach is like a religion,” Parker said. “It has its own sacred traditions, rituals, and devout worshippers.
“And, from this year, it now has its own object of devotion.
“The KFC SuperCoach Holy Grail — a bejewelled trophy worth $10,000 to add to the $50,000 first prize — which will be unveiled at the conclusion of this epic tour.”
