CAMERON Munster soars and Corey Parker returns to the form of old and Corey Norman continues to press his claims as an Origin replacement option.

1/Cameron Munster did no favours for the 77.2 per cent of SuperCoaches who don’t sit with him in their teams with a 166 point demolition of the Roosters. Potential owners will need to pay big dollars, somewhere around $440,000 before lockout next round otherwise he will be out of reach until this week’s monster slips out of his rolling average.

2/ Many SuperCoaches passed on cheapie Tevita Pangai this week fearing that he would not receive enough minutes from Wayne Bennett to reach his full potential as a cash cow. Those who followed their instincts picked it like a dirty nose with the exciting rookie only spending 19 minutes on the field, however, there is no denying the kid has some genuine potential offloading twice for eight points and if he can get extra minutes, he may live up to his potential. Owners will be hoping the unplanned interchange of Jordan Kahu impacted his minutes. He will still see an initial price rise of $38,000.

3/Corey Parker (114) put forward a very strong case to support bringing him back in to our teams once the representative period is completed after presenting those loyal to him with a triple figured special. Parker was destined to crack the ton after breaking the line for a try but even if sceptics take out the 30 odd points he received for the try, 18 hit ups (13 over 8m), five tackle busts, an effective offload, 23 tackles and an extra 20 points from the boot is enough evidence to suggest his ownership will increase well above its current 25 per cent for the run home.

4/James Tedesco has confirmed in the past fortnight how vital he will be for the run home averaging 80 since returning from injury. Timing of when to bring him in for those who don’t currently own him will be crucial with Teddy banging down the door for Origin selection which will see him unavailable to play for the Tigers in round eighteen and leaping in price every time he plays. He will be available for just under $390,000 prior to round 16 when the Tigers next take the field.

5/ The all-important weekly captain choice decision continues to hurt many SuperCoaches. Sam

Burgess (20) broke the heart of around 25 per cent of SuperCoaches who gave him the captain’s arm band and Shaun Johnson (49) fell well short of the heights that were realistically set for him considering the Warriors put on 50 points against the Knights. Round 15 will bring with it

another opportunity to make use of the VC loophole with minimal risk so SuperCoaches need to look at their line ups and get crafty with their VC selection.

6/Bevan French will play his third game and therefore see his first price rise next round against the Rabbitohs if he retains selection. French has scored a try in his first two games and has dual

FLB/CTW position flexibility, however, his base stats are lacking with the young winger only making seven runs over 8m in his first two appearances for the Eels.

7/Corey Norman (78) continues to press his claims as an option to get potential owners through the Origin period and even sit with dual position versatility as a back up to provide cover for injury for the remainder of the season. In his past two games, with Kieran Foran out of action, Norman has taken charge of the Eels attack and averaged 80. He will be available for around $343,00 this week.

8/ Once the Dragons play in the second big bye round this weekend, many owners of Tyson Frizell, Will Matthews and Mike Cooper will move these Dragons on for Trent Merrin to finish the season. Merrin (69) has been ‘Mr Consistent’ once again this season averaging 68 in his last six games and for the season. At just under $400,000 he will be hard to pass up.

9/ Nathan Cleary (97) has confirmed himself as the next potential big money maker after falling just short of triple figures against the Sea Eagles. Cleary was heavily involved in the Panthers’ come from behind victory setting up a try with a line break assist, breaking the line for a try, offloading twice and making 25 tackles. If Cleary retains selection for round sixteen, his ownership percentage will soar.

10/Tyrone Peachey (95) confirmed against the Sea Eagles that he certainly has the ‘X-factor’ and could also find his way into more than 3 per cent of teams after next week when the Panthers have their second and final bye for the year. Peachey price tag will not alter too much from its current $382,900 and potential owners looking to make up some ground may look to bring in this Panthers live wire who has averaged 73 in his last six games.
