SUDDENLY, it has all turned.

The NSW Blues are now struggling to squeeze in an unprecedented number of in-form stars lining up for Origin selection.

Usually, Blues coach Laurie Daley has a pool of about 25 players to choose from — this year he will have well over 50.

And this while Queensland is battling to find players with Matt Scott and Greg Inglis gone for the season and Johnathan Thurston busted.

The NSW hooking spot is one problem area but there is plenty of cover in every other position. And it’s all quality. Back-rower and centre look particularly strong.

Look at the centre options — Jarryd Hayne, Josh Morris, James Roberts, Dylan Walker, Jarrod Croker, Joey Leilua, Tyrone Peachey, Jack Bird and Michael Jennings.

And back-rowers, check this lot out. Jake Trbojevic, Jack de Belin, Trent Merrin, Tepai Moeroa, Wade Graham, Josh Jackson, Boyd Cordner, Tyson Frizell, David Klemmer, Bryce Cartwright and Dale Finucane.

There are players everywhere sticking their hands in the air for selection. And it’s a pretty sight.

Hey Queensland, the party is over.
