The individual asks the attendant if the pie would “look good on a Bulldogs fan” before the video then cuts back to the stands.

He is then seen holding the pie before launching it towards Bulldogs fans who are watching the match unfold.

NRL club strongly condemn fan's ugly act

The ugly incident was quickly called out by fans on social media with the Dragons blasting the behaviour of those within the video.

“The Dragons are aware of a video circulating on social media depicting antisocial behaviour from a Dragons fan at last night’s match against the Bulldogs at Nestrata Jubilee Stadium,” a club statement read.

“The Dragons condemn any such behaviour in the strongest terms and will assist the NRL in relation to any breaches of the NRL Spectator Code of Conduct.

“The Dragons would like to sincerely apologise to the Bulldogs fan impacted by the incident. We will work with the Bulldogs to contact the fan and pass on our apologies directly.

“As a club, we want all fans, both home and away, to always feel safe at our games. Any behaviour that causes others not to feel safe will be acted upon.

“The Dragons would also like to stress that the behaviour of one individual should not detract from what was overall a very respectful sellout crowd with fans of both clubs supporting the match in a great spirit.”

In the video the individual in question is seen talking to two members of NSW Police with a statement being provided to news.com.au.

“NSW Police officers were patrolling at a football match within a stadium on the Princes Highway at Kogarah yesterday evening (Saturday 8 March 2025), when they were told a man had thrown a pie at another person within the stands,” the statement read.

“Officers spoke to a number of people at the scene; no arrests were made.

“Inquiries into the incident are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact police at St George Police Area Command.”

The Dragons will return to action next weekend when they take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Saturday, March 15 from 3pm (AEDT).
