Dom Young is back on the wing for the Roosters after the English flyer was recalled to replace Origin rookie Robert Toia for Saturday night’s game against the Sharks.
Young hasn’t played since round seven and has spent the past few weeks in reserve grade, with reports of an immediate release to the Knights falling apart after a disagreement over costs between the clubs.

He is one of a number of changes for the Roosters who will be without five players to Origin, with Makahesi Makatoa and Salesi Foketi starting in the front row, while dynamic dummy-half Benaiah Ioelu will make his debut off the bench.
The Sharks will be without winger Sam Stonestreet (ankle) but they do get Mawene Hiroti back for the trip to Gosford.
Jake Arthur will get a rare start at halfback in place of Daly Cherry-Evans, with the No.7 to end his NRL exile against the team he debuted for back in 2021.
Haumole Olakau’atu will leave Blues camp for Friday’s match, while veteran prop Matt Lodge will play his first game of the year off the bench where he’s joined by Lachlan Croker who has overcome persistent injuries.
The Bulldogs will be without a stack of stars to Origin and injury, with the ladder leaders welcoming Josh Curran back from suspension for their game against the Dolphins.
Blake Wilson starts on the wing, Blake Taaffe has been named at centre and Bailey Hayward is at lock against a Dolphins side that has moved Jake Averillo to fullback.
The Panthers have been forced to make a stack of changes with Daine Laurie named at fullback, Brad Schneider at halfback and Lindsay Smith at lock, with Luke Garner and Liam Henry in the back row.
They face a desperate Knights side that has moved Fletcher Sharpe to fullback to replace Kalyn Ponga, while they also get Leo Thompson back in the front row.
And Jackson Ford and Bunty Afoa form a new-look front row for the Warriors, while Simi Sasagi replaces Hudson Young in the back row for Canberra.
