James Tedesco 7: Set up the Roosters’ first try with a beautiful pass while he ran for 167 metres.
Daniel Tupou 7: Scored a try and was safe as a bank under the high ball.
Paul Momirovski 6: Made a number of mistakes but scored a crucial try in the second half in his last game before joining the Wests Tigers.
Joseph Manu 7: Showed enormous strength to fend off multiple South Sydney defenders for Ferguson’s try.
Blake Ferguson 7: Played tough and scored a strong try.
Luke Keary 8: Steered the Roosters to victory in the second half with Cronk hampered by his shoulder injury.
Cooper Cronk 8: Cronk added an inspirational chapter to his remarkable career. The Queensland champion bravely battled on despite his busted shoulder hindering his passing and stopping him from kicking.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 7: Stepped up in the absence of the suspended Dylan Napa with 74 metres and 29 tackles.
Jake Friend 6: A workmanlike performance highlighted by 39 tackles.
Sio Taukeiaho 7: A strong effort in his return from an ankle injury with 112 running metres and 27 tackles.
Boyd Cordner 7: Quiet by his lofty standards but he never stopped.
Mitch Aubusson 7: Returned to his preferred position in the back-row and impressed with 31 tackles.
Isaac Liu 6: Solid effort without being spectacular.

Victor Radley 6: Came on and delivered some punch with 21 tackles.
Lindsay Collins 5: Limited impact.
Zane Tetevano 6: Made 93 crucial running metres off the bench.

Alex Johnston 5: Not his best night while he came up with two errors.
Campbell Graham 5: Didn’t receive many chances as the Roosters’ defence restricted him.
Greg Inglis 6: Ran for 150 metres but couldn’t himself into the contest.
Dane Gagai 5: Made a few errors and battled to find space.
Robert Jennings 6: Tried hard in attack with 126 running metres but failed to convert.
Cody Walker 5: Only ran for 46 metres, which is subpar for an explosive attacking player of his standard.
Adam Reynolds 5: Outplayed by Keary and Cronk and couldn’t get himself into the game.
Thomas Burgess 6: Busted his gut but it wasn’t enough.
Damien Cook 6: The usually dominant runner was limited to only 63 running metres but he worked tirelessly in defence.
George Burgess 6: A disappointing game given his strong recent form.
John Sutton 6: Made 115 running metres but lacked punch.
Angus Crichton 5: Produced an average performance by his high standards.
Sam Burgess 5: Never stopped with 33 tackles and 124 running metres but he made two errors.
